AXE Clean Cut Look Pomade, 2.64 oz

I have used this item before and like it quite a bit. It is easy to pack and use while traveling.

This is my favorite pomade. Smells nice. Holds great but not tacky or stiff. My go to. Has shot up in price though…like everything else.

This is my daily pomade. Keeps hair in check and the castor oil reduces hair loss, a bit. Highly recommend, not too shiny gloss and scent less.

Okay, let me first start off by saying that I have -Never- bought any axe products before this because I know that they are usually complete crap and they aim towards a tween audience that haven't even reached puberity trying to be older than they really are. One day on a complete whim I decided to try it out and I'm glad I did. It took awhile to get used to it but once I did I really started liking it. It shapes your hair in a clean-cut look without looking like you're using any product. I tried some other axe hair products (shaggy, messy, spiked-up) and they were all junk. This is the only axe gel I would recommend. I might eventually one day go out on another whim and buy a different pomade product and say that this stuff is complete trash but until then this is the best stuff I know of and its pretty affordable.

Let me start by saying that I almost always read review before I buy a product. Unfortunately, I already knew this product, so I went ahead and purchased without reading the reviews. I assumed, like others, that there were going to be 3 jars included in the package. Amazon sells several other Axe Hair products for similar prices and they all include 3 jars. However, this product definitely is for only one jar. I didn't read the reviews because I already knew that I liked this product. I have shorts, straight hair that probably isn't too thick or thin. This product works great to give it a slightly messy look. Another review had it right, though - it works better with a little moisture, because the product is pretty thick. Edit: It looks like Amazon has fixed this issue (they now explicitly say 3 jars, but they are still charging the same price). Therefore, I am modifying my original review to 5 stars because I do like the product.

My boyfriend is growing out his hair and told me to get him some hair gel so he could "slick his hair back". Having used hair gel in the past I was worried it would look sticky and hard. It doesn't at all. It keeps his hair in place without looking "wet/sticky/hard". It actually makes his hair soft, he loves it. Glad this came in a pack of two - the tins are a bit small. He went through the first tin pretty quick.

This is my favorite pomade I've tried so far. It doesn't give you a helmet head like the strong hold pomades do. It gives just enough hold to keep my hair slicked back and in place with some shine but not so much that my hair looks greasy and wet. If you look closely at the pomade it looks like it has sparkles in it but this doesn't show up in your hair and I have light brown hair. I use this with a little bit of hairspray and my hair stays all day through a 14+ hour day while working in a hospital. It also keeps my hair in place fairly well underneath my motorcycle helmet and underneath my scrub caps.

My husband uses this everyday. I get a 3 pack each month he uses it so often. He has found that it is one of the only pomades that don't tangle - easy to work with - hold and subtle shine - EASY WASHOUT. I have tried to buy him "nicer" pomade but he always comes back to this one. We have had some HORROR experiences with other brands. This one does the trick and I can assure you it doesn't have an "axe-y" smell to it. I can only smell it if I am sniffing his head, even then it is mild.

Holds my hair in place all day without being stiff and crusty like some hair product. After it sets and dries (in about a minute), I brush my hair once, and its soft again, but holds all day.

Love this stuff…doesn’t make your hair sticky & easy to work with.

Gives a nice appearance to your hair and smells nice been using it for years back in the day when it was branded lynx can only get it on line now
