Having collector vehicles, some don’t have the ability to install a radio in the dash, or require cutting the dash, when you don’t want to, this will do the trick. Would be great for a boat, classic vehicle under dash installation, large truck etc. Could also be used to install a radio in your shop under a cabinet or whatever. A classic part vendor I use sells the same exact part as an aftermarket option for nearly 40$. Can’t go wrong.

We had a new stereo system put in our 1981 El Camino.

So I put this in an RV because the factory radio didn't work and was such an odd size it was hard to find one that fit the hole, so I turned the hole into a shelf for remotes and installed the stereo (that I had won in a raffle anyway) under the cabinet it fits perfectly and looks good too. My only complaint would be it's kind of thin so my mounting sleeve would not push real tight against it, but input a piece of foam under the stereo just to keep it from moving around If my trailer bounces going camping, so I think for the price, the ease of installation, and looks I couldn't be happier. Plus it shipped fast just a couple of days to California

Easy to setup radio into, and very sturdy.

Like other reviewers, I am not using this in my car but instead for mounting a car radio under a cabinet. It is exactly what I needed. Build quality is good with thick plastic. Access holes in the back are perfect. I used smaller mounting screws than were included but it was nice that screws were included.

This thing does what it says it will. Can you say the same of yourself? I doubt it. Anyway, as ghetto fab as it sounds I found that to get my head unit to stay at the perfect level height for the faceplate to be flush I had to put a PS2 game case in the bottom of the tray. Just throw it in there and slide the head unit in and it will be at the perfect angle, I promise. Otherwise the unit will be tilted up with a big gap at the bottom. You'll see what I mean when/if you buy this. I used it to throw a new cd player beneath my Chevelle's dash as a temp solution. But it works well.

It works great. Honestly I don’t think it was worth how much they’re asking, but no one else was selling something like this for cheaper so I bought it. mine did not come with the knock out old style radio holes as advertised in the pic

Worked exactly for what I needed to add a radio inside the enclosed trailer, seems sturdy and it survived some pretty nasty roads over the past winter.

The mount is exactly what I needed. I mounted a stereo in my enclosed trailer and was very slick with this mount. It is made of pretty sturdy plastic. The one I received was for a single din and didn’t have the holes for the old school radio like picture show.

I have been looking for over a year for one at a decent price (seriously, go looking... they want up to 100 for these elsewhere)Works excellent. The center shaft support areas in the pic do not actually come with this product. No deck uses them, so that is GOOD for you. Drop your deck in and voila. Done. Back holes accept grommets, albeit the plastic on this enclosure is so thick that you may need to put a relief slice in grommet for installation.I mounted this to the roof of my rzr (used my own bolts and nuts) and it holds up great.
