What I was looking for!
The fabric of this bag feels very sturdy and the straps do too. Much better than you would think for 100.00. Also the pocket in the front is well placed and very roomy. I was worried I would not like the zipper down the middle but I love it and it is easy to put the bag on and zip up without having to put the hole think on the ground! It is thin with minimal thickness to the bag so it may not offer the protection that other bags might but it is light weight and easy to maneuver, and not over stiff. So, I bought this bag because I have 5/8 size bass (Shen SB190) and currently there are not bags for this size under 500.00. This bag is a little snugger than my 3/4 Gollihur bag and it is not as stiff. I have made a cushion to sit at the bottom of the inside of the bag and it pushes up the little bass almost 2 inches. I plan on snugging down the straps on the back, this way the body of the bass will not slip around too much. This still leave the neck of the bag a bit too long, so I will hand stich across the top of the bag pulling the two seams together. So for my 5/8 Bass, This will be perfect.

Great Functional Design
I am thrilled with this case/gig bag! It fits my bass like it was made for it. It’s lightweight, made of a heavy canvas with just enough padding. The material is easy to get a grip on, not slick as some other bags inexplicably are. It actually has handles and straps where I need them to be and I really love the front zippered opening! I just got it today so I can’t attest to durability but it appears to be sturdily and well made. It only took seconds to cozy my bass into it and I didn’t have to lay the bass down to do it. This is a very reasonably priced, well made upright bass bag that I happily give 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up! 👍👍

Lifesaver, don't know how we managed without it
We needed a case for our standup bass for a week long music conference and the back straps were a life saver carrying it around town and traveling in the van during the trip. I read the reviews about straps breaking so we decided we'd support carrying it by using the side handle...just in case. Not a problem. The handle is in the right place. The front zipper is odd at first, but for this price, it doesnt matter a d it is not a nuisance at all. We have a late 50s or early 60s Epiphone 3/4 upright and it fits perfectly. It is only lightly padded, about as thick as a sweatshirt, but of a neoprene type of material. The outside is your usual, black stiff polyester type of material you'd see on a typical gig case. Very happy, excellent price, easy to carry, and kept the bass dry and from getting scratched, too.

Kay fits great
Bought this for my Kay M1 and I’m happy to report it fits with room to spare. Very sturdy bag and a great value. I have an older model Protec bag on another bass and it’s still going strong after 5 + years.

Very well made of good materials
Exactly what I was looking for. It fits my Eastman VB305 DB very nicely. I've never had/seen a bag with the zipper up the front middle but it seems to work fine, will just take a little getting used to putting it on - a little different than the typical side zipper.I am a professional jazz bassist and wanted a lightweight bag that was well made with good materials to carry my gigging bass to work. I am very careful with my instruments - always have been - and didn't want or feel I needed a super padded bulky 'puffy case'. When I started playing 50 years ago I had a bag that was just plain unlined canvas. I'm not going to run into door jams and such. My bass is in greater risk of damage when I am on stage and the bass is uncovered. The material of this bag appears 'bulletproof' and the seams, pockets, and handles are all well done. Great 'light' bag for the money.

Very thin bag. Not much protection
Product description states that this bag has 25mm of padding. Not so. My careful measurement shows less than 3 mm of padding.

Stand-Up Bass Bag - good value and works well
I needed a bag to transport my 40 year old standup bass...and didn't want to pay a huge amount. This bag is good value. Made with a sturdy canvas-type material with well-positioned handles make it easier to carry. The zipper is well-positioned (right down the middle of the bag) that makes it easy to put bass into and take out of the bag. There is no real protective padding - so still requires care in handling. Interestingly, there are backpack straps on the bag - although I can't imagine carrying a standup bass that way - without taking the neck off as you walked through a doorway.

Well made, better than anticipated
The 3/4 bass fits with room to spare. Handles in the right spots and love the zipper down the centre as opposed to the side. Looks and feels durable.

Good value
Good value for the price. Moderate level of padding. Good pocket space. Helpful carrying options with handles and straps for carrying on your back.
