works
I grow mushrooms and got tried of paying for kits with everything ready to go. These are expensive and great for beginners, but I want to make grow bags and mix substrate so I needed the spores to start everything. I love growing lion mane and when I got the syringe I injected half into liquid culture and half into a grow bag. This way, I can grow more mushrooms, more frequently and don't have to spend 30 dollars on a kit that I use one time.

Good shelf life, no contamination, fast colonization, tastes great!
Ok so I got busy and this sat in my mycology room for a year ... and then I finally got around to using it a couple months ago to inoculate some grain ... and it worked - no contamination. The syringe of lion's mane mycelium from this company was legit and clean. Furthermore, I got my first harvest today and cooked it, and this specific strain tastes even better than the kind from my local grocery store. This literally tastes like roast beef when cooked in a stir-fry. This tasted soooo good, and I wasn't expecting that - like wow, I don't think I'll even buy it from the store again ... collected some spore-prints too and ya this one syringe is gonna let me grow sooooo many because all it takes is a clean sample like this and then you can to grain to grain after your first half dozen jars and turn each jar into twenty more and its like ... exponential.TL;DRClean sample, fast colonizer, good genetics for taste; best lion's mane I ever tasted. Easy to grow as a first timer.

My guys are happily producing mounds of spongy goodness
Started 2 quart jars with this, and they both fully colonized, allowing me to get 4 bags of substrate knocked up. No problems I noticed, but they definitely prefer side fruiting. Makes a great addition to ramen with a quick stir fry and soy sauce glaze

Arrived Broken
Arrived with a huge crack in it, I only noticed while I was injecting my grain spawn because it started squirting everywhere. Injected the rest because I don't even know how much actually went in, hopefully a miracle happens and it isn't contaminated and I didn't just have 50$ wasted right in front of me. Will definitely be inspecting syringes beforehand now 😔Edit: Seller send a new one and I'm already seeing some mycelium in the bag, review stars adjusted accordingly

vigorous and uncontaminated
Delivery came right away. We started twenty agar cultures with 100% success. No contamination. Very vigorous growth after a slow start the first three days. Flavor is not part of the rating as that depends more on the growth substrate than on genetics, and will take a while to find out about.

No contam and LC made for some beautiful mycelium
I’ve been growing active species for about a year and a half and felt it was time to spread my wings. This was my first time growing mushrooms that weren’t magic…but they are so magical! The lions mane is a plentiful fruiter and is very resistant to contam. Lion’s mane would be an excellent fungus for a beginner who is just dipping their toes in to mycology. The reishi caught me off guard at first. I thought for a minute it was contaminated but I looked it up and thank goodness the yellow stuff is just mycelium haha. Lions mane fruited rather quickly, whereas the reishi (as was expected) took about 5 months. Well worth the wait though.Excellent seller. Will buy again.

Very Healthy Cultures! Great growth, great service!
Really happy with these cultures! Super fast growth for both the pink oyster that I ordered, and they even sent a bonus syringe of blue oyster culture! Both are growing beautifully, having almost fully colonized the spawn grain at this point. Already ordered another syringe of lions mane to try. Can't go wrong here.Update 10/20/20: Transferred to bags a couple days ago, just some lime pasteurized hardwood pellets supplemented with about 10% alfalfa pellets. They are colonizing the blocks beautifully and quite aggressively. My lions mane spawn is also coming along, a bit slower than the oyster, but I think it will also work out nicely. Also made some liquid cultures for making more spawn of each.
