LED Tactical Flashlights PTAC1000 [2 Pack]

Exactly what I wanted, I've gone through 2 different other flashlights, more expensive than this (and like most people, I don't relish throwing money away). In both instances the root cause of the failure was a broken switch, it stands to reason, having to cycle through different light modes is quite a lot of wear and tear on the switch, and it's no wonder the switch would fail. So before I wasted any more money, I asked myself what did I really need, and my answer was this: fairly rugged - an accidental drop on the floor should be survivable. Just a simple on / off switch , and a zoom feature from flood light to spot light - That's it. I don't need a strobe feature, S.O.S light mode, power saving dimable feature etc. Update: 1 year later and both are still working like champs. 1 in my toolbox at work (A machine shop and fairly rough enviroment to subject a flashlight) and 1 around the house, both have survived falls - the one at work has been bumped into machinery, and bounced right off concrete floors. I am still very satisfied with my purchase The only improvement I would wish for would be to move the on / off switch from the tail to a button located on the side of the housing. Sept 12, 2023. I have had both of these flashlights for sometime now, one I use at work daily, and the other around the house. Both have [And still do] work perfectly. This has turned out to be an extraordinary good buy, the simple on off switch has never faulted on either unit, and I have time and again reminded myself that I am so glad don't have to endlessly cycle through different lighting modes, I honestly think that this is one of it's best selling points. So far both lights have been rock solid in performance, when I need them they work. Update 9-29-24, both lights still going strong - as bright as ever. I am very pleased, this has turned out to be an excellent buy. Update 1-31-26, I still have both lights, the performance of both has been (and still is) outstanding.

Just what I needed for around the house. Nice bright adjustable light and it’s either on or off, no other function. Very sturdy and well made. I also like the option of using 3 regular AAA batteries or one rechargeable battery, which I prefer.

Seem to be well made, solid feel to the switch. The zoom ring runs smoothly and illumination is very even when wide, but the spot is square! Bright, but odd. I don't know about longevity but for the price it won't take long to be a good deal.

Good flashlight. Best part is that you don’t have to go through five settings to get to a fixed light. It only has one setting that’s a fixed light beam. Quite bright.

Love these flashlights... fit well in my hand, good amount of light that can be focused from a tight beam to a wide-area flood. and only ON and OFF, no un-needed blinking modes. My only wish would be for a ring magnet around the on-off switch.

These are the best flashlights. Very bright light and also works with the big rechargeable 18650 battery or 3 AAA batteries. It is a nice size-only 5 1/4 " long. I love that they have on and off and not all 5 modes. Also, they can adjust from a pin point light and to a wide light. Push the button at the bottom for on and push it again for off. With the big 18650 battery it weighs 4.0 oz. I really love this flashlight.

First, like others I came here looking specifically for single mode flashlights or at least cycle-free on/off switches and thankfully some manufacturers are catching on to this demand (... though you can have multiple brightness levels implemented by a separate switch or dial and have the power switch still be single-mode on/off, like my headlamp) . Now the flashlights themselves are great, bright with 3 AAAs and even brighter with 3.7v+ 18650 batteries. The button, the focus adjustment, and the finish and feel is perfect. So getting a pair for this price is an excellent value. However I noticed that for my pair, one had a slightly different color temperature than the other. I didn't notice at first, but I only noticed later when testing back-to-back against a white wall with some other light colored and mildly reflective objects. That's when I noticed one was a bit warmer than the other or conversely the other was a bit cooler in color. I emailed PeakPlus using their support email from their web page with amazon order info and they stated that shouldn't have happened and promptly shipped out a new one,, no questions asked. Wow! The new pair now has the same color temp, tested with the same method, so the issue was quickly resolved. From this experience I'm confident they'd honor the warranty as well and it definitely left a great impression on me.

I love the simplicity of just an on and off button without having to go through a bunch of stupid modes nobody really needs. Just turn it on and zoom it in if you want, then turn it off with one click. Also the quality of the light and the zoom are very good. I also like the small size, it's comfortable in your pocket. The durability quality seems excellent, I think it will pass the test of time. The only thing that would improve it, is if the on/off button was next to the zoom slide instead of at the rear of the flashlight.

By no means perfect. I don’t really like the color temperature. It is very cool white, almost blue, I would say about 7,000K which is not the best for seeing things, as our eyes are optimized for daylight, or 3,000K to 5,000K. But it is one of the few flashlights with just an on/off switch and no useless and distracting gimmicks. No cycling through multiple unnecessary modes like most flashlights on the market today. So I’m giving it 5 stars and will definitely buy again when these are lost or broken.

Stabil, sehr hell und liegt gut in der Hand ohne klobig zu sein.

Hace ya unos meses que las compré, no les he puesto baterías recargables, solo unas de baja calidad, para mis necesidades son mas que excelentes. No han presentado ningún problema y son muy cómodas tanto en su activación como en el uso.

This is a great flashlight to carry in a pocket, car, or night table. It is basic and simple without the usual gadgets that are of no value and quickly become frustrating. I have never had a need for a dim flashlight or one that blinks on and off, and I usually just end up throwing them. I currently have five of these peak-plus lights and have just reordered two more. I am going to put them in my tool box and throw the others away. I highly recommend this product even though I am unable to comment on the long term durability. Having said that though, they have already outlasted most of the “fancy” ones that I have had previously. Again, great product.
