We use this for us adults. We’re both (husband & self) at that age where we’re getting random, patchy dry spots that *seem* to be Eczema as our skin gets thinner- normal lotion burns & doesn’t seem to help at ALL.We follow a keto/carnivore diet & I’ve heard folks in the space talking all about animal based lotions - tried this out & WOW! It feels thick for a moment, then seems to just melt right in & the random dry patchiness has ceased. Really neat & so grateful we didn’t spend $$$ on a dermatologist that probably would have handed us something medicated and also $$$Try it out & see if it works for you!

I recently realized that my all time favorite chapstick (Forsvarets Hudsalva) uses beef tallow (adeps bovis) as the main ingredient, and that is very hard to find in stores. Most of them use petroleum or are vegan, none of which cut it for me, just makes me have to reapply a LOT so I took a chance on this! Bonus - I also have a baby, I can see this being great protection on baby cheeks in the winter. I'm pretty happy with this as a chapstick. One application does lasts quite a while. It is a little too soft and mushy for my liking though, I wish it was more solid. The cap gets pretty gross after a while and is a baby choking hazard.

I have incredibly sensitive, dry, peeling lips. After trying EVERYTHING, this is my all time favorite lip balm. It is very soothing and lasts and it does not make the peeling worse, as most other products do. My lips do still peel, as they have for the past 30 years, but this helps ease the discomfort more than anything else has and feels the best.

I thought tallow would be good for human skin, but I won’t ever use this again. I thought I could give it to my niece for her baby, but she doesn’t use animal products. I guess you can only try because you might like it. I definitely wasted my money on this one!

It's a good moisturizer but it's not the tallow I am used to. I can also smell a very strong cocoa smell which I'm not a fan of.
