Works and looks great
We bought this so that we could store some books and other nick-knacks that we have and I'm glad that we got it! It looks great and works for exactly what we needed. It can be a little fragile, but we aren't loading it up with 10 lb books or anything either. It arrived super fast and was well packaged and in great condition. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a little more storage and wants a unique design too!

Not the sturdiest, but you can't beat the price.
I was a bit hesitant to buy at first because of the bad reviews, but I was having huge issues finding a pure black ladder shelf that fit my budget, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm really glad I did! I bought two to place on either side of the TV for all of my knick knacks and plants.Both packages for either shelf arrived perfectly in-tact with no pieces broken or missing. I read these were pretty hard to assemble, but I had no issues. If you just make sure to read and double check the instructions, you won't have a problem. I also laid out all the pieces the way they were supposed to be attached before I got started screwing in pieces.After assembly, they are not the sturdiest things in the world. When I moved them from my place of assembly to the TV area, I accidentally hit the ceiling and it slightly chipped the top corner of the shelf. It was my bad, but that just goes to show how delicate these things are. I would not recommend putting these in a high traffic area, because one accidental bump and they could get seriously damaged. Luckily, we don't walk up to the TV that often so I don't think there will be an issue.Overall I am really happy with the purchase, and really like how they look in the living room. If you are on a budget and want a nice ladder shelf to display your things in a tucked away area, I recommend these shelves!

I like it. It looks like the picture, but it was extremely time-consuming to assemble.

you get what you pay for
It’s good for the price. Assembly was pretty much common sense but is time consuming because there are lots of screws. It’s a little wobbly after being constructed but I don’t think it’ll topple over if you don’t put anything too heavy on it. Overall I think it’s a nice bookshelf, but for the price it is it’s not going to be amazing quality. It does the job I was wanting it to do so can’t complain!
