Women's Medieval Velvet Dress | Renfaire, Renaissance Gown Halloween Costume Floor Length with Satin Lined Arm Tippets

The dress is pretty and seems well made. I needed it for an event I was attending. I will warn you be careful it does run quite large! I ordered according to what it said my size was and had to return it because two of me would fit in it. Wound up ordering what is my normal size which is size large. The large was still big but can be altered to fit me better. I did notice that the one I returned had some spots on it where the material was messed up. The replacement one had no defects in the fabric. Since the first one was damaged I detracted one star, had it only been the wrong size I wouldn't have done so. The company was easy to work with and had no issue with the return or replacement.

I love this dress SO much! I was really shocked at how amazing the quality is! The fit was perfect based off the sizing guide, it arrived about 5 days earlier than the date it gave, and the material is very soft. My only complaint, and this is me nitpicking, is the finger elastic was way too small and so I removed it and added a new one. My dress was a huge hit at our Renaissance event and I will definitely be wearing it again for Ren Faire!!

The length is a bit long, but it's a beautiful dress. I wore 1.5" heals and still had to pull the dress up when walking. So getting it hemmed would be a good idea.We had a backyard wedding in October 2020 and this was my dress. I had so many compliments and I showed off the dress (as shown in pic2). It made me very happy to have a unique piece. I can also wear it to Renaissance events or Halloween. It's very versatile.

I am super impressed with this dress. I was not expecting much, based on the price, but I was beyond impressed when I put it on. The only negative that I can possibly say about this is that the cord lacing it up is a little too.... something. I will most likely leave it, but may change it out for ribbon. I would 100% recommend this to anyone.

This dress is well constructed; all the stitching is good and feels sturdy. I'm about 5'10" and 155 lbs. The dress does not touch the ground as I had hoped but it's very close. Being pretty tall, I'm used to that. I was also concerned that the sleeves wouldn't be long enough for my arms. They are snug-fitting without being too constricting and a good length too. The skirt is amazingly full and beautiful. So much fabric. I can lift the front of the skirt a little to go up stairs without stepping all over it and the back of it doesn't pull forward at all. The fabric is ever-so-slightly transparent in bright lighting but, with the bodice fitting snuggly and the skirt being so full, I doubt it will ever be noticed. I'm very, very pleased with this dress and can not wait until Halloween this year. ^_^

Perfect fit! 4xl. I'm 5'6" the length was a tad bit long....but great if you wear a heel. I wore flats...so it was a little long. Great material....no wrinkles! Not too hot, and on a cool 30° Halloween wedding day...it was perfect! Beautiful colors! Mine was burgundy with pink satin sleeves. The ONLY downfall was it was paired with Silver ribbon. Burgundy and pink needs to be paired with Gold trim and lace. I had a hard time finding accessories that were Silver and Burgundy....I found. Many many items that were Burgundy and Gold. Love the dress.... highly recommend it!
