CH-159 Mini Suction Cup Mount Holder for Garmin GPS Nuvi Drive Drivesmart Series with 17mm Swivel Ball Mounting Pattern

I used this to mount my rearview mirror to my windshield on a '93 Eurovan. After gluing it back on without success I started thinking that a suction cup mount would be a nice solution. As it turns out the original mirror has an 18mm ball mount, and the Garmin mount is 17mm. So I ordered it knowing I would need to adapt it somehow. I used a small piece of rubber from an old bicycle inner tube to shim the difference, and it works great. The new mount holds very well to the windshield, and the mirror seems to be securely fixed on the ball. I will update if there are problems down the road, but for now I couldn't be happier with it.

Worked perfectly for my Garmin. Drove across country in both very hot and very cool environments. My original mount would lose suction particularly after large changes in temperature. This never lost suction against the windshield during our trip which took a couple weeks through very different climates. It held right on!The GPS was not loose either. It fit firmly on the ball and didn't slip. Perfect fit!Was exactly what I was looking for.

Works as intended. Sticks great to the car dash window. Thankfully it is pretty simple to detach. I had a problem with another product similar to this and it was VERY difficult to detach once the suction cup was applied to the window. This one attaches to the window securely but also detaches with no problem when you are read to detach it from the window.

I'm using this not for a Garmin but an Edge Insight CTS2. It's a scanner/electronic gauge for my truck that lets me see 12 gauges of data about my diesel. The Edge mount is way too far forward on an F-350, this is the perfect mount and the ball mount fits the Edge perfectly.So far the suction is fine, will update should that change in the future.

the swivel ball is slightly undersized in my opinion. the others I've had hold the gps unit firm enough so when entering info, the gps unit stays in place. if I put just a little pressure when entering address, the unit moves out of position.usable, but not great

The original mount that came with our Garmin kept losing its grip, which can be very annoying while driving. This one stays put with no problem.

This came quickly; fit my Garmin Nüvi GPS without any problems; stuck to the windshield; wasn't expensive. What more could you ask?
