I purchased this for use at my library.The automatic motion sensor doesn't work, so I had to set the laser to be always on. This happens a lot with barcode scanners (most of the ones at the library, of all different brands, are set to be always on since the auto sensor doesn't work). However since it would be nice for that function to work I knocked off one star. I did change the settings so that the motion sensor was at the highest sensitivity, but I still couldn't get it to scan. So it will have to be always on, just like most of the others.Positives:I appreciated the easy to use settings booklet that was included. And as far as actually scanning books, it works great. It scans, what more could you ask for? The driver was easy, it self-installed. And I like the green color.Please note that this is one of those sellers that contacts a few times after the sale to make sure everything's OK and to ask that you leave a review. But here I am, leaving a review, so I guess that tactic works.

This was purchased to replace a dead data entry scanner at work. Electronically it was flawless right out of the box. My user did break the mounting bracket though - I don't think she was being rough, just trying to adjust the angle and broke it where the upright connects to the base. Being mechanically creative, I drilled a small hole through the base, into the upright, and put a small screw into it. Works fine, probably won't break again.As for some comments about the seller being unnecessarily in contact with buyers, I felt that is not a bad thing. In fact, when they asked me what I thought about the device, I told them about the broken stand. Right away the offered to send me a replacement stand. I declined, simply because I'd alleviated the problem, and didn't feel they needed to be out the extra expense.Bottom line: if/when I need another scanner, I have no qualms about purchasing this same model again.

Its ok. I feel the scanner doesn't read that many bar codes. I have trouble with shinny ones and small ones. I love the colors tho. I have the red one. I love it.Update: 11-15, the scanner broke, not worth the price after using it for 8 months. I can't even get ahold of the company to speak to them about the issue.Update; 11-20I finally found the seller info, contacted them and they are sending me a replacement. Thank you

It does the job as described. It would be a better product if it was wireless.

Great scanner, this replaced an old scanner that took many scans to read bar-code. This scanner one scan an the bar-code is read. I would highly recommend this scanner.

They said this was plug n play and it is, since we are new to operating scanners and working with barcodes this made life pretty easy.

We are using this scanner with an In Flow system as well as another inventory system. It has worked flawlessly in the first couple of weeks.
