I didn’t have time to read it beforehand but this book is packed with great information as well as maps and nice pictures. Best Grand Canyon book for the price.

I bought this book to plan for our trip. It was extremely help and full of great information. I will definitely buy more from this series for future trips.

Great book

Haven't read all of it yet and have been skipping back and forth trying to decide my plan for next summer hikes.Every page I pick is very detailed and riveting and makes me want to see it all .Just a wealth of information that you can get overwhelmed by it all.This book I highly recommend , there is no confusion on what to expect on any hike you plan on taking.

Another great guidebook from James Kaiser. My only comment is that I'd like to see a little more detail on the campground(s) in Grand Canyon. Otherwise seems pretty informative.

The book provides great information on all the key points of interest and valuable tips on things like parking, shuttle bus routes, food locations, etc.. It will save you valuable time while you visit the Canyon. I kept the book readily available the entire time we were there. Reading the book ahead of time allowed us to make a great plan for our trip and it went very smooth and flowed well. A must buy if your visiting the Grand Canyon!!!

Purchased this just before a trip to the Grand Canyon and read it just before leaving and on the plane. Very organized, easy to read, beautiful pictures, and excellent advice. 5 out of 5.

I read this book in two days before I made a trip to the Grand Canyon for a couple of days. Everything you would ever need to know is in this book. It is extremely helpful for all aspects of traveling to the area, and especially hiking.
