I noticed a lot of people's reviews mentioning that this product burned their skin. This is because it has lactic acid as an ingredient. I think that's how you can tell it's working, haha. It tingles or slightly burns (similar to when you use a glycolic acid peel but less intense) for about a minute or two after you first apply it, then quickly subsides. If I use it two days in a row, I don't feel the burning at all on the second day. I have been alternating between this mask and the Grace and Stella mud mask, and it has done wonders for my perimenopausal acne! I was getting deep, cystic acne for the past 6 months, so I started using hyaluronic and salicylic acid, and in addition to the masks, it's worked miracles for me. (This mask also contains hyaluronic acid, so double win!) I love the way the mask makes my skin feel, and my skintone looks more even and bright after I use it. My complexion is smooth and my face feels/looks tighter (younger), already. I've been using this for a month, about 2 to 3 times a week. I think I'm a lifelong customer! I'm excited to try the other varieties, too! I'm especially curious about the tea tree one. So far, I've only used the rose clay mask, but for the effectiveness and the cost it's a winner in my book. I highly recommend anyone suffering from breakouts to give this a try.

This ANAI RUI Rose Clay Facial Mask is great and give me excellent results! The combination of Kaolin Pink Clay, Niacinamide, Collagen, and Hyaluronic Acid made my skin feel incredibly soft and hydrated after each use. I noticed that my pores appeared smaller and some of my blackheads were visibly reduced. The mask also had a lovely rose scent. The 4.23 oz size is generous and will last me a while. Very happy with my purchase.

I have very delicate skin and this mask was great. I was a little worried about irritation because it did irritate some peoples skin, but it made my skin slightly ruddy for about 5 minutes and then the redness went away. Most of the redness was probably from rubbing in the first place. It is a basic mud mask that dries on your skin and is removed with a wet or damp wash cloth. The first time I used it I noticed a little tingling but not when using a second or third time. Would recommend you do a patch test on your inner arm by the wrist as if there is an allergy or reaction to this formula you will only have it on your wrist and not all over your face. I will definately buy again. Comes with a little spatula to spread the mud on your face. Very useful for getting an even amount on the skin.

I just used this for the first time. I have tried a hundred clay masks. After one use, my skin feels softer, awake, brighter even. It tingled a little when it started to dry, which I liked, it wasn't an irritating tingle, but I could feel it working and drying. The application tool it came with made it easy to spread on. I spread a thin layer but when washing it off it felt thicker and very cleansing. I am hopeful that if it feels this good after one use it will only get better! I have skin that is on the sensitive side, I have dark spots and some faint scarring from adult acne that I had been getting since covid wearing a mask at work.

I liked the fact that this product had avocado, green tea, ceramides & other natural ingredients. I tried it only once & results were immediate!! Left my face super soft & clean. I had black heads on my nose but those were gone right away. Even after a couple of days after use, my face was just radiant. I will recommend this facial clay mask to friends, family.. everybody!

The clay mask has a lovely smell and consistency, however after a minute or two on my face it began to burn each time. Might be a product that reacts differently to different skin types.

I noticed this product, thought I'd try it, and I'm glad I did!! I used it, and it was very soothing on my sensitive skin. It felt luxurious!! I didn't put it on the tip of my nose, and the next day I did biore strips. The only blackheads that came off with the strips was the one from the tip of my nose!! I couldn't help it, I stared in total disbelief. Then, it dawned on me, it was the mask!! It had totally sloughed off all the blackheads, WOW!! I'm using it on a regular basis now, and checking out the other products this company makes. Absolutely OUTSTANDING!!

I’m new to the skincare routine, so I don’t have much experience. I was originally using InstaNatural Exfoliating Glycolic Mask and I hated it because of the stickiness after applying and it didn’t feel like it did anything. The Anai Rui Rose Clay Facial Mask was what I found as an alternative. If it wasn’t for the burning pain for 2-4 minutes after applying, (only used once so far, so I don’t know if it will last), I would have given this 5 stars. My face felt and looked clean. Soft to the touch. I use this as a night time routine so I’m not too worried about a slightly flushed face that usually goes away after half an hour.
