The Great Race Paperback – Illustrated, 1 May 2007

Super easy and simple to read. Suitable for 2-3 years old. It is a bit confusing when I have to explain to my son who is 10 about Lunar Calendar and how Chinese New Year doesn't follow the Western calendar. Apart from that, he enjoyed the story.

Lovely book, I got it for my niece and nephew for lunar new year so they could hear the story I was told when I was younger. Easy to read and understand, the kids loved it the story and the illustrations.

Purchased this to help explain Chinese New year to my Preschool class.They really enjoyed it and the illustrations are wonderful.

Used to present the story for pre school and ks1 about chinese new year.The story is a bit too long for the pre schoolers but perfect for KS1.I made maskes so they can act it out too.

Being a Chinese who can't read Chinese, this is a great book for me to read to my 4 year old twins boy to introduce them to a story that I was told as a child.

Such lovely pictures and the children loved the story.

Another lovely tale for all ages. Have already re-ordered for other members of the family
