The CD player would not work, even with brand new CD's.Reception is horrible I was unable to listen to any of the radio stations that I normally listen to and It sounds terrible. The 1 star rating that I'm giving is only because I cant submit a zero.

Bought this radio as a gift. I liked it so much I will be purchasing another. It is a perfect size to carry around with you on the porch, steps, anywhere. It is nice and lightweight, thin profile and easy to use. Great sound too.

I didn't like that I cannot plug it in for extended use without batteries. That is minus two stars for me. Otherwise this is an extremely nice radio for the price. Good sound, portability and ease of use. I'd recommend it if you never want to use AC connection.

This works perfectly for what I need...to place in a nursing home/rehab unit for family. Only issue, states on box that it can plug in to electric socket but NO PLUG/CORD IS PROVIDED! Sadly I believed a cord would be included. It takes 8 AA batteries (that don’t go in easily). Otherwise it works.
