Great remplacement for my drift sticks.

Works like a charm and feels more or less like the original. Tested it next to one with an original joystick, and if anything, the new one is a bit springier and more responsive (could just be because it's new). I've broken and replaced my fair share of joysticks in these things, and I even went back to an older one I put a new joystick in a while ago and replaced that one with an extra one from this set because it was much higher quality than the older replacement. The caps are a nice bonus. Install about as easily as any other joystick replacements you'll find. Pictured: One with a new joystick next to one with an original. Which is which? Only the wear gives it away. 😉

This was an easy and much more affordable solution to buying new joycons! This is doable for someone with little to no experience in working on electronics but I would recommend watching some tutorials first. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is mine did not come with the 4 screws as shown in the photo. However I just used the ones already on the joycon so it wasn’t an issue.

My switch is old. And not only did I get the dreaded left joycon drift, I got the rarer right joycon drift. This is a 4-pack of thumbsticks, so if it happens again, I've already got replacements. The thumbsticks are very basic, just like originals at a fraction of the cost. It's a task to replace them if you don't have the right tools. I did, and these popped right in. The ribbon cable is a little longer than the originals, so it took a little to get everything repacked into the controller, but they work great. If I get a year or two out of them I'll be happy. I did have to look for a video to help me figure out how to get the joycons apart and replace the thumbsticks, the instructions (or lack thereof) didn't help, but there's more than enough resources online. If you have the correct tools (not included), and you have access to videos, you'll be fine. Overall, they're the right item for the right price.

Jaoystii joycon drift replacement worked great for me, first try no issues at all. Been a few months since I replaced the top left joycon in my blue controller (viewing the included images and video), still works flawlessly. I only used one joycon of the four, and did not use any of the screws. For the reviewer that mention the joycon is stiffer I would agree, but I have newer controllers and they are also stiffer, it is due to being new and not used and broken in. Regardless you don’t notice it, it does not affect the movement. As you can see from the images, the tops are identical to my switch, but the bottoms have a different stamp some extra holes and the color of the data cable is different. None of that makes a difference. The drift became so bad playing Tears Of The Kingdom, I decided to try this. I could no longer clean it or add backing to the joycon or bend the back in. With the new joycon I can climb a tree or cliff and no longer walk off when not touching the joycon. For me it works great! Very happy with this cheap but very effective replacement for $13 bucks. Only recommendation I would have for the vendor is a package of two controllers AND the plastic controller housing. I have unscrewed the plastic housing multiple times through the years of cleaning the joycon and adding backing to it, in order to stop the drift, I partially cracked one. Still works fine but one screw does not hold the housing together as tight as the others. Just a suggestion. Great not having drift in the joycon.

I replaced two sticks about a year and a half ago, one is still going strong the other developed a lot of play and lost it's ability to act as a button when pressed down. That said, the one that failed does get a lot of use/abuse so I'm not too concerned as they are inexpensive. Used the last two and they're working great, going to pick up another 4 pack to have on hand. Didn't use the included screws as mine are still in great shape, recommend picking up some quality drivers and use firm enough pressure to keep them from camming out right as you snug them down. The cable is a little longer than stock but works/fits fine, let it do a gentle bend but don't crease them or they'll snap, sometimes easier to insert and lock the cable before fully seating the stick.

J'ai commendé ces joysticks de remplacement pour réparer la Nintendo Switch de mon garçon. Une des manettes avait le fameux problème de Joycon drift qui fait en sorte que le joystick restait souvent bloqué dans une possition même lorsque n'y touchions pas. La procédure de remplacement n'est pas trop complexe. Je vous conseille iFixit pour trouver une procédure claire. Assurez-vous également d'avoir les bons outils et de prendre votre temps pour éviter d'endomager d'autres composantes dont les bandes de câbles qui peuvent être très fragiles. Quatre joysticks de remplacement pour 20$ ce n'est vraiment pas cher compte tenu qu'une manette neuve qui se vend souvent en pair peut coûter près de 30 à 40$. Avec ce kit, vous serez en mesure de réparer 4 manettes.

Doesn't come with any sort of tools, so I had to buy a different product to get tools, but they work just fine. Similar to the more expensive kits, so far so good. Calibrated well, relatively easy to install (with watching video instructions on youtube) and work well as of now. Haven't failed yet.
