Peek-a-Boo Jungle Hardcover – March 1, 2006

We started reading this book to our daughter when she was about five months old. She screams and flaps her arms with excitement each time it gets pulled out. There's not much to the book, but she absolutely loves it. Like any lift-the-flap book, you'll want to make sure the pages are handled a little more gently than most toddlers would like to. It is still going strong at our house after daily use for five months.

The peek-a-boo flaps seem like they will stand up to use by my 1-year-old. I think the text leaves something to be desired. (It just says "Peek a boo! Who is hiding?" on each page.)However, my son thinks the book is hilarious. He points at the animals and laughs like crazy. I guess that's an endorsement. Maybe he'll hone his literary criticisms by age two.

Love the different animals and the last page that has the mirror is great and makes my nephew smile every time. Would definitely recommend.

We love this book! My little one is a year old and we've just started going to the zoo on a regular basis so this book was great for helping with animal recognition. The pull-down flaps are a big hit! The last page features a peek-a-boo baby with a mirror for a face so little one will see their own reflection (in a very clear mirror) - great fun!!

Lovely Peek-A-Boo book with jungle animals. I'm sure my 9 month old niece will love it as she loves playing peek-a-boo. Great price, good p&p, very quick delivery & appropriate packaging.
