Accidentally Zapped myself
Bought it for my grandma to walk around her neighborhood where there is an aggressive dog loose occasionally. I was putting it back in it's sleeve and forgot to turn it off and zapped my hand, that thing has some power to it.

Great size. Easily hides in drawers. Good response.

Incredibly shoddy probe wiring
As I wrote to Sabre, my three S-1005 stun guns were put together with the two black wires (that should be attached to the probes) in no way “connected” to those probes - no solder, no pinched clip attachment, nothing. And the probes are a loose fit within the case. (ck photos) The stripped, exposed strands of silver wires are simply “sandwiched” up against the probes by the plastic housing. Is this a reliable electric cord attachment for a stun gun? Sabre’s response was “…If this stun gun was not taken apart and was registered for the 2-year warranty, we would have been able to replace the unit for you.”. Seriously? They had nothing to say about the probes and the wiring.Opening the gun actually revealed the “loose probes” problem early; luckily I didn’t experience a wiring failure while being attacked. No wonder so many buyers are reporting failures to function. For a company making “personal safety” products, customers should NOT be Sabre’s after-market quality control inspectors. Perhaps Sabre relies on impressionable customers don’t actually test the gun (on a dimwitted friend?) but are really happy the flashlight is nice and bright and hope the device “definitely will do damage if you need to use it !” AND weighs very little and fits easily into your sock drawer! But will the probes really work when you need them to transmit a shock?

Ergonomic flow when using
Much better quality than the Sabre 2-in-1 flashlight that i bought previously. The tazer of that flashlight quit working after only a few months, the flashlight part still works. Their products made in China have quality issues (unfortunately this one is also made in China but acceptable), however their products made here are very well-made and dependable.I do love Sabre's customer service, they are knowledgeable and friendly. This particular stun flashlight has good ergonomic flow when put into use. The curved sides flow, and the order of buttons brings the product to activate instantly when you need it too, no muscle memory needed.

Small but strong
This is a great product to keep on your person that makes you feel safe. I keep it charging in my car middle console when not in use so it always has a charge, then I grab it when I'm at my destination and going out and about without a worry that it won't have the power to protect me. I have left it in my purse for a week by accident and it still has at least one good zap in it when I find it because I test it to see. I wouldn't leave it off the charger for more than a week though so that it doesn't run out of battery when you need it most. Overall, I highly recommend it for the ladies out there that need to feel safe at night.

Cheaply made. Do not buy if you’re expecting to incapacitate someone
I mean… it’s better than nothing. I’ve shocked myself with it. It hurts like a MFer, but if someone was dead set on harming you, they could power through it.Don’t just rely on this alone. Carry a knife and/or pepper spray along with this stun gun. It’s cheaply made. Feels like build quality from a TEMU product. The probes on the stun gun are extremely loose and just jiggle in its housing. Who knows how well the wiring is hooked up to the probes 🙄Here’s the bottom line though. Unless you’re spending $400 on a civilian taser that actually locks up someone’s muscles, this is the absolute best you are going to get. Any stun gun you purchase on Amazon that is under $50 will all be the same quality, and all hurt just as much. Do not buy this expecting it to incapacitate someone. It won’t. It just hurts.

This works as a handheld safety device, and I am pleased with it.
I keep one in the car and one in the Golf cart for when I am out. I fortunately haven't needed to use it, but I will say pressing the button the ark and sound made me jump. I will say it only has 2 or maybe 3 times you can press the button before you have to recharge, so be aware if you are using it. Does have a safety so you don't accidentally set it off, and the flashlight is a nice touch, but it does drain the power so if you use the light much you will need to charge it for it to be affective.
