Nuvo Iron Pyramid Post Cap, 5 1/2" x 5 1/2"

Just installed two on top on the posts supporting my pergola. I have used cheap, thin aluminum capped ones with wood from Lowes and Home Depot- this product far surpasses these! I ordered for 6x6 and it fit perfect over SPF 6x6 treated posts commonly found in the south. Screws that were included held it secure and felt very sturdy and durable. I will now buy more of these for my entire wooden fence. Worth the buy! NOTE: the company name has "iron" in its name, but cap is made form cast aluminum, but extremely durable all the same.

This is a nice post cap. It comes with two Phillips wood screws. It was easy to install. The build quality of the post cap itself is nice. It is aluminum with black powder-coating. There was a small chip of paint on the side, but otherwise, the coating was good.

Love the style of these post caps. Nice weight. Weather well. Paint holds up.

Nice thick powder coated metal. I bought these (8) thinking I would have to re cut my posts since the deck installers cut beveled edges to the top of my posts. I was pleasantly suppressed to find out that these fit on my posts with the beveled edges. I just had to angle the screws down slightly to get a good bite to the post. The caps are secure and tight. You would never know that the posts were beveled. Time will tell how these bold up, but I expect they will last awhile.

This is a nice product and looking good. It seems to be durable because it is still new, only time can tells if they are. The caps are not exactly fit my deck posts but close enough. I am happy with my purchased and I highly recommend it.

These caps are perfect for what I needed. I had wooden caps that cracked and broke a part after several years. I think these will last a lot longer.

I ordered the post caps. I needed them for 6 x 6 posts and big box stores did not have them. These arrived quickly and seem to be very durable. Time will tell. Easy to install and they look great on my natural wooden posts. I bought them for looks (they match the black balusters) and to keep rain and sun from drying out the wooden posts. Yes, you can see NUVO but it doesn't bother me. I just see the black caps. Would recommend.

Note: be sure you are buying the right product. Standard 6x6 posts from the home stores can be 5.5”x5.5”. This company sells a 6x6 and a 5.5x5.5. Be sure you’re buying the right one. Otherwise, it’s a nice product. Solid construction. Fits like a glove.

What I liked was the quality. They were made of solid steel & will obviously last for years. they fit the posts well. Very good product & I am very satisfied

These fit on top of pressure treated 6x6 posts(which are actually 5.5"x5.5") very nicely. It wasn't critical to get a perfectly square cut on the posts (which is a pain on a 6x6) as I could very easily shave only the necessary spots with a hand saw ,after a rough cut with a chainsaw, to get them sitting nice and flat. Once they're on level it hides everything and they're very sturdy.

As expected. Bought to match up with some that were 5 years old. Can’t tell the old from the new so they seem good quality.

Fit our deck posts perfectly. Excellent quality. Should last a lifetime.
