This new cord for a vintage Corning Ware electric percolator fits and works quite well. While failures are still possible with mid-century kitchen appliances, this substantially reduces the likelihood of electrical failures for some degree of peace of mind. I am delighted (and so are my guests, who enjoy seasonal hot cider which is kept warm and served from the pot). I hope the seller continues in this business for a long time as I have more than one pot and have gifted more than one to family and friends.

My husband surprised me, and bought me the cord to fit my mom's old 70's corning ware pergaltor. It brings back so many memories! He measured it and everything, it fits perfectly.

I had purchased a Corningware Cornflower 10 cup percolator at my local Goodwill several months ago. At the time of purchase it did not have the original cord with it. I scoured the internet looking for a proper replacement and came across Northwest Trade Post. I placed my order and waited for my package, which came rather swiftly.I hooked it up and kept a close eye on how the cord functioned, whether it would get hot or start sparking. I'm pleased to say that the cord has been working very well and I have been able to enjoy coffee in a more 'old fashioned' way without a large coffee pot taking up valuable counter space. I am very pleased with this product.

From all the warnings this seller gave, I was a little apprehensive when I placed my order. But I got it yesterday, used it to make coffee this morning, and my electric cord works perfectly, with the Corningware Blue Cornflower electric perculator I bought last week at an antique store. I bought it because of memories. My mother had a beauty salon in our basement, and my job became making coffee, for my mother as well as her patrons. I used to make a full pot, and while it was brewing, I would take everyone's orders of how they liked their coffee, and when the coffee was done, I would carry them all downstairs. The only reason I didn't give a 5 out of 5 stars, is because I feel this cord was way too expensive. But I was sure enough that I was ordering the correct cord, that I decided to do it. The perculator itself, was marked at $30, but the lady who owned the booth it was in, was there, and she didn't even realize it was electric, so when I showed her, she knocked off $10, and I bought it for $20. Then adding $44 plus change for the cord, the whole thing cost me $64. But memories are strong, so I paid it. The coffee didn't taste any better than my Braun pour-through coffee maker, but the coffee was a lot hotter. But my Mom is deceased now, and maybe it made me feel a little closer to her.
