Another book to help me study in my bible study

I have been studying the writings of Finis Dake for over thirty years now. You can be sure that anything he writes is thorough, Biblical and to the point. Revelation Expounded is no exception. His insights on the Book of The Revelation of Chrsit will give you greater debth and understanding into the events of The Revelation that is well rounded and Biblically sound; with no human invention or fanciful thinking that seems to come from so many other commentators. Buy the book, read it and you will too will understand The Revelation as never before.

Anything by finis dake is a must read. Great book at a great price.

This book was easy to understand. It was recommended to me by my mother. She loved it ,also. I ordered two. One for me and one for my brother. It answers a lot of questions in a simple form that ordinary people can understand about very complicated issues.

Out of all the tons of books out there written about the book of Revelation and/or prophecy, this is the only one that rises to the top. Written in 1948, this work would require virtually no updating or editing as we tend to see in other works of this nature. The only reason that I use the word "virtually", is because the author tends to "correct" or "point out errors", (i.e. copyist error, etc.) in the biblical text from time to time. Finis Dake was correct in using the Authorized Version of the Scriptures, but not correct in correcting the perfect text of the KJV which needs no correcting. If God Himself promised that He would preserve His words for all generations (Psalms 12:6,7), then we DO have His error free words in our time as well regardless of wars, tumults , disasters, the passage of generations and time, comets, the alignment of stars and planets, and the general foolishness and efforts of man to destroy his words.

I would say WHOA!!! This author really expounded the Book of Revelation!! So much indepth study that he took up a lot of time with. I have the hardbound now I have this book for Kindle. I have Dake's Bible. He is really something!! But of course you may not agree with some things but he is good!

Excellent Book.Complete exposition of Revelation is sane, scriptural, and free from sensational and foolish speculation concerning prophetic events. A book for the Classroom and the Home. Well worth the price. Recommend all Bible Students buy this.

Amazing book. This was Reverend Dake's first book published in 1926 when he was only 24 years old. He claims never to have changed anything he wrote, but updated with additional insights from his studies of Scripture. If you have any idea of what the world in 1926 was like, you probably would think his book was a bit far fetched (quite a bit far fetched); however, looking at world events today and reading Revelation Expounded is almost like reading the daily news. In fact, reading this book opens the eyes to actually watch prophetic events unfold today. Read and enjoy! It's a real experience!
