I bought these trash bags to hold food scraps that will be composted. I was excited to discover that the bags are stronger than the biodegradable fruit and vegetable bags from the grocery store that I had been using. They are also larger than I had expected, making it possible for me to collect scraps in them for several days, tie the bags shut, and toss them into the compost bin without breaking. Our county collects the biodegradable trash for composting. I assume the bags will break down successfully.We are very happy with these bags and will be buying more.

I had always used the plastic bags from the grocery store for trash. Why spend money on expensive Hefty or Glad trash bags, when the grocery store bags are fine? I thought this was economical and efficient. But of course, we can't continue putting massive amounts of plastic into landfills forever. My grocery store stopped with the bags, and I've grown comfortable bringing my own cloth bags to the store.But I still need to throw out trash! I've managed to reduce the actual household waste down to recycleables and kitchen garbage, so only really needed bags for the kitchen stuff.THESE BIODEGRADEABLE BAGS ARE PERFECT! Cheap! Sturdy! Don't Leak!They are the perfect size for me. I take trash out once or twice a day, so the small size works well. Anything larger and I'd have a big smelly bag in my kitchen for days.

I'm using these in my office, bedroom and bathroom for mostly paper garbage, so they aren't strained, but are sturdy enough for this light duty, and, they are a generous size. I will be testing them in my kitchen soon, and may add to this review once I've done that. Although these are more translucent than I expected, I don't mind. I like the pale green color. I believe there are other colors available. And the best aspect of these is that they are biodegradable, so I don't have to feel guilty about adding to the earth's polution.

When I got these bags my first thought was that they were very flimsy and I was afraid that they were going to rip and send my garbage all over the floor. However that hasn’t happened. Even though they are thin they are strong. I usually close the bag when it’s 3/4 to almost full and up to now no issues. I am getting ready to order again, these are now my go-to garbage bags.

This product is absolutely one that would and will recommend to my friends and family. Material is different from others bag i had gotten very flexible material. Love it and will continue to buy them. Price is decent nothing to complaint about is actually good price for the product. Remember it's only support small trash cans (4 to 6 gallon).

The bags are ok does the job I need them to do. A bit on the thin side could rip easily if you are using them for heavy items. I used them for my small bathroom trash pail so they work for me. I love they are biodegradable. Only 3 stars because of the bags being on the thin side.

Think this is a case of false advertising. The front of the bags mentions them being plastic in the warning and the only mention of being biodegradable is on a tiny sticker on the back. Not convinced they're actually biodegradable so these will be going back.

Glad to have found this product, I try to be as gentle as posible to help our planet & was first concerned if this product would hold (strong enough) for regular garbage) & I can say I was pleasantly surprised that it works!!! This is the 2nd time I ordered 😉
