Bought two of these to connect my light set. The cords are fixed at 6" so you'll have to tuck away the excess somehow. Not worth splicing. The plug heads are a bit thick however so there amy not be much wiggle room depending on your installation.

I'll sum it up quickly:The linking cables are huge.....taking away from the sleek design. If you have two long cabinets flanking a shorter sink cabinet, then find another light!!! The linking cables would ruin the whole look. I thought I would solve the problem by mounting on top of the cabinets and running the linking cable down the filler space.....nope.....not an option....they don't make long enough linking cables.Overall: Would not buy again. I missed my return window so now I have very expensive over cabinet lighting!!!!!

Not good if mounting fixtures within a few inches end to end. Just go ahead and butt the fixtures together. The molded ends were too big for my installation.

Works great with it's American Lighting friends.

The cable made for a quick installation and was hidden from sight. Made for a attractive installation of the Xenon Under-Cabinet Light

Connected two American Lighting 043X-3-WH lights together. It worked immediately and I only had to run one power cord. Great.
