These Vont camping lanterns are excellent. I have purchased them twice.They are great for camping or walking outside at night in a dark area. They are very bright but you can control the amount of light by sliding the lantern case to the preferred amount. They can be hung up inside a tent. I have also used them in my home workspace at night to see detail with extra light. The only drawback is the batteries aren't rechargable, but they do come with batteries, and they seem to last fairly long. Overall I think they are great.

I ordered these for a camping trip I went on last week. I had read other positive reviews, so I figured for the money they were worth a shot. They are fantastic! They throw a lot of bright, white light 360 degrees and were great for lighting the tent and campsite. One hanging from the inside of the tent, and one hanging from a tree outside the tent did a great job of lighting the site. Though the lights have loops on the top, I would recommend getting small bungees to loop through them and whatever you want to attach them too. the friend that I can't with, who is an Ave camper, was very impressed with these lights as well. They are very convenient size 2, they are about the size of a soup can. The way they turn on and off as clever, you just pull them open and they turn on, then push them closed to turn off. I can't comment yet on the battery life, although we used them for 2 nights at a few hours each night, and the batteries lasted fine. I actually plan on leaving these in my car, they'd be great emergency lighting in the event of a flat tire or some other roadside emergency. I may also purchase an additional 2 keep in the house in the event of power outages. I tried them in my house when I first got them, they easily light up a dark room. all in all an extremely satisfied, and would definitely purchase this product again. You just can't go wrong for the price.

I wasn't really looking for any lanterns on Amazon, but when I came across 2 for 15 bucks I couldn't pass it up. These things could easily be sold elsewhere for 20 bucks a piece. They look like they're made of machined aluminum in the photos, but they're actually made of a durable plastic. They're very lightweight and small. WAY smaller than other lanterns that produce the same output with standard bulbs. There are a total of 30 LED's, 3 sides with 10 each in a triangular pattern. The lighting output is sufficient, it won't blow you away, but it is definitely bright enough to illuminate a tent or picnic table. You could even use it for navigating on foot due to its size. The light collapses down into the body, and when you want to turn it on you pop it up. There is no switch, it turns on automatically. The lights turn on at about 1/4" of lifting it up. The movement is very smooth and fluid. There is just enough friction so that it is easy to pull up, yet not to little as to let it come up on its own and turn on if it were upside down. I should note that there is no digital function to change the brightness. However, you could easily do this by collapsing the light a little bit so some or most of the LED's are inside the body. Of course, it won't save any power doing it this way though. The handles are made of stainless steel and do exactly what they're supposed to. It is worth mentioning that the handles do not hinder the movement of the mechanism even when they are in their collapsed position. The lantern takes 3 AA batteries. I like this feature a lot because I am used to having big bulky lanterns that use D or C batteries for camping. AA batteries are much smaller and more common, plus I can use rechargeable ones which is nice. The battery compartment is housed at the bottom and is accessed by unscrewing a lid. This is an advantage over a traditional clipping cover that other products use that pop off and get lost easily. My only complaint is that I would have preferred a single handle that was centered rather than two handles on either end. This is just because I think two is over kill. Other than that, I can only say good things about these lanterns. If you're even considering buying them, just do it, you won't be disappointed. Thanks Divine LEDs!

I'm pretty happy with these lanterns for the price and the quantity (i got 2). Comes with some generic batteries but since LED lights are low power the batteries should last a bit, especially if you're planning on using these lanterns in emergency like I do. Brightness wise its bright enough, it won't turn night into day but its bright enough to light up a room and make it habitable if the power goes off, if you pair it with two then its more than enough. The lanterns are also pretty light thanks to its plastic body and acrylic housing. And that leads me to probably my only con besides the "good enough" brightness levels, is the diffusion of light from the acrylic window. it doesn't spread out the light 100% evenly so you'll have what I call "splotches" of light spread around the space. It's not terrible or a deal breaker but it is noticeable but again not enough to bother me. The body is also made of plastic so I wouldn't call it super durable. Can probably take a couple of falls and dings but I wouldn't call it a workhorse. Overall these are good lights to have in a pinch, or even if you're looking for a daily lantern that doesn't break the bank. If you're looking for a serious lantern or one with multiple features I'd pass on this one. but it does the job, I can't complain and it gets my thumbs up FYI I noticed there are several lanterns on Amazon that go by different brand names but look identical to this one. My guess is that several vendors use the same private label manufacturer so keep that in mind if you happen to find this exact model of lantern.

This LED camp lantern is fantastic! It’s super bright, lightweight, and easy to carry. I took it camping last weekend and it lit up our entire tent area perfectly. The battery life is impressive, and it feels sturdy and well made. Highly recommend!

Great little lights give lots of light Very bright easy to carry. These are well worth the price.

I have an older Colman camp lantern in case of power outages. It has a fluorescent bulb, takes 8 D cell batteries, and lights a room fairly well. The problem is I rarely have decent D cells on hand and have to carry it from room to room so I decided to get 4 of these lanterns a month ago. I’m so glad I did! I just had a power outage that lasted 26 hours and these little babies worked great. They are small, lightweight, and each one only takes 3 AA batteries (included). They don’t light up a room as well as my Colman but were more connivant to use and for the price of 8 D batteries, you can get 20 AAs. Because they are lightweight I hung 1 from the chain of my ceiling fan to light up the room better. You just collapse them down to turn them off.

I just received my lanterns in the mail today. Instructions are easy. Insert 3 AA batteries. To turn on - lift up the top. To turn off - push down the top. No on/off switch or button to search for. You can determine the amount of light by how high you pull up the top of the lantern. The handles are easy to lift up, plus there is a wire loop on the top for hanging. Obviously I cannot speak to how long the lantern will work on one set of batteries, nor how it works on a camping trip. I did turn out the light in the kitchen and turned on the lantern and I was pleased with the amount of light. I will state that I did *not* purchase these lanterns to be used in outdoor and rugged conditions. They would probably work fine. I purchased these lanterns for home use in power outages, and as part of my emergency/disaster preparedness supply. Living in a rural area, we frequently experience power outages due to extreme weather conditions, especially high winds, lightning, etc. More often than not, we lose power because a DUI driver has hit a power pole and knocked out power for an entire community. It is necessary to have a light source that is dependable and provides sufficient light until power is restored. The brightness of this lantern is sufficient for my needs. I do have two Eddie Bauer small lanterns that I have been using when there is a power outage. They have worked just fine. These Divine LED Lanterns are even brighter and is a great addition to my emergency light supply. As with any product, your mileage may vary. I reserve the right to edit this review after I have used these lanterns over a long period of time. Friday we had a scheduled power outage for maintenance. Not a problem, it was during the daytime. However, the next day (Saturday), there was an *unscheduled* power outage from 7:45 am until 3:00 a.m. the next morning. By the time it started getting dark, I realized I better put some batteries in the lanterns and turn them on.. Oh, my goodness! These lanterns put out more light than I am used to having on in the house at night, unless I am working in the kitchen. So I actually didn't even need to have them fully extended. There are no street lights in the rural area where I live, so it does get pitch black dark unless there is a full moon. The next time these go on sale, I plan on buying another set. I am very pleased with these lanterns.

Great for around the house or anywhere to be honest. Easy to use and convenient- you can carry it, hang it etc. light is bright.

Bought for power cuts. Brilliant little lantern and it gives brightness to a room similar to a bedside lamp. Don't know about battery life as only just bought. Highly recommend!
