I'll start off by saying I do really enjoy these gauges - I bought the 0g set a few weeks ago, and have been wearing all three pairs on rotation since they arrived. They are not at all flashy, but are of a decent weight, quality, and finish.The threading on the set has been a sore point for me - the thread is super fine, and is prone to seating incorrectly and sticking while screwing into the base. I'd like to say this is merely a problem posed by trying to screw together two very fine parts in a hard-to-view place, but I've had the same problems with sticking and improper seating even when I was screwing them together right in front of me.I would not recomment these to folks with chubby fingers, those whose hands may not be all that dexterous, or those who may panic when these gauges don't unscrew on their first or second try.

Perfect! Well made and the fit is spot on, considering I wasn't sure of my size there are perfect and the screw back is the way to go, way less pressure on the ear. If you have punched holes in your ears and stretched, check these out.

The "black" pair is more blue, almost like a multicolored anodized stainless steel. Otherwise they are very well machined.
