I thought that silicon moulds would produce a better seal with the pan but reading the reviews on Amazon I was convinced to buy the metal version. No regrets with these heavy and practicle!

Was slightly worried about the metal handles heating up during cooking, but they stay cool on a griddle, and on a BBQ (as long as you don't close the lid).They are in no way, shape, or form non-stick. Oiling the entire height doesn't fix the issue, eggs just stick to them, even after using them for a month or so and even after trying to blue them with some oil like a wok.They do the job. 3 stars.

Needs protector on the handles to combat the heat. Couldn't get the eggs soft without leaving some uncooked white so had to have hard boiled fried eggs

Perfect, no leak and they all fit well in a medium-sized skillet

These rings are more trouble than they're worth. Described as 'non-stick' by the seller, the egg white sticks to the rings like glue and is labour-intensive to remove.I haven't tried silicone versions but have now reverted to traditional way of frying eggs, which is simpler and easier to clean up afterwards.
