Buttery flavor....very nice.Arrived early & well below serving temp!

i have not eaten it nor opened it. just wanted to say the shipping wasn't on par at all. all the ice packs were liquid instead of frozen and my thermometer recorded 42 degrees. 10 degrees higher that what the label said it should be kept at.

Don’t use the photos for reference, the actual “tin” is a tiny 1inch container and the caviar doesn’t look anything like the photo!

This product came in a package with dry ice :D. I am so happy for that. It is also very creamy and delicious. Will order to send to family and friends.

Totally worth the price! Had Champagne and caviar to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Didn't have caviar 40 years ago.

This has to be truly a JOKE. Much like all the other caviar available online/amazon and all over the place. All I'm going to say is this -- caviarastrakhan.com (the website is in English)People, please save your money and don't fall for this scam. Paying this kind of money for farmed (or really any kind) caviar is truly absurd and not fair, not to mention that farmed caviar can't even come close to REAL caviar. So save your money, and read on so you can get yourself some real (and best in the world) caviar for half the price.There is a Russian company called CaviarAstrakhan (caviarastrakhan.com), which as their name suggest is actually located in Astrakhan (this is THE only place in the world where the fish species needed to make Beluga, Osetra and Sevruga caviars exist and reproduce in their natural habitat, they are also found on the IRANIAN side but caviar from IRAN is far worse in quality). Genuine Russian caviar is known to be the best in the world, and Astrakhan caviar is considered THE BEST bar none. That being said, this company sells Astrakhan caviar on their website and ships all over the world, they accept payment in dollars or euros. Generally, Beluga caviar is considered to be the BEST kind, but they feature all 3 (Beluga, Osetra, Sevruga) so you can pick and choose what you like, they have special deals and bundle packages. For example, you can buy 12 jars (4oz each) of Beluga astrakhan caviar (the best there is in the world) for $699, that comes out to be 48oz of the world's best caviar while here these guys are trying to charge double that for 16oz! Its truly unbelievable, that's a third of what you can get at caviarastrakhan for double the price, so you would be paying over 4,000 dollars to get 48oz of FARMED caviar from here, or get 48oz for $699 from caviarastrakhan.com!NOTE: This is not meant as an advertisement or anything of that sort, I'm just a simple guy who wanted to let people know about this and I am in no way affiliated with any of these companies. I realize that this review and information might make some people mad (namely the companies trying to sell their caviar here for astronomical prices) and for that I do NOT apologize, I say that's too bad and you guys should stop ripping people off. And I really hope that me writing this is going to be helpful to people, so that you guys don't get ripped off like this and get yourself some real caviar for a fair price.

Tried this caviar at my friend's house. It has an soft and buttery consistency and the eggs pop softly in the palate revealing a creamy and salty flavor. I could eat it alone with a spoon every time! Definitely an amazing product, highly recommended!
