Would buy again
OK, negatives first: I think it is overpriced for what it is.Now positives: my intuition is that the reason it seems overpriced is that Franke have not skimped at any stage in the manufacturing process. Beautifully machined. Great finish. Solid. I suspect that it will last longer than I will.It's difficult to get excited about taps, but this is a good one.

Item dented at the base so does not fit on base plinth and the spout although packaging was not plumb( verticals) with the base. Seems every hard to return?

NOT STAINLESS STEEL
Silk steel looks nice when new but is NOT STAINLESS STEEL it is just nickel plated and easily tarnishes and worn on handles revealing brass housing, choose chrome it will keep it's looks.
