I was cautious about purchasing this product with the mixed reviews. However, I just made the perfect after dinner cup.All the parts came apart for easy, thorough cleaning and reassembly was no problem. The size/circumference of the thermos is great as I’m older and beginning to struggle with my grip of larger items. I’ve cut way back on my coffee intake so this is just enough to hold 10-12 oz. easily.The coffee was good to the last drop; there was not a single ground in the bottom of my cup! Because I poured it into my favorite cup I’m not sure how well the thermos does at keeping coffee hot. I’ll have to measure that another day.I wanted an easy way to make coffee at my new job without bringing a coffee pot, this is the best alternative. It requires no electricity, which is good since there are no available outlets in my office, and takes up no more space than a cup on the desk. Also, I don’t have to worry about pods or filters.I might have to get another for home and get rid of the coffee pot. But then again, it does make a quick pot of hot water for my coffee so I think I’ll keep it.The thing that I would love to see is carry handle for when my hands are full. When I use my carryall it fits in the pocket, but I don’t use it everyday.Great buy and wonderful gift idea for coffee drinkers.Another reason, the office coffee pot looks scary sometimes. This is just for me so I know it’s clean.

Where have you been all these years? French press - my favorite way to make coffee. Travel mug - keeps it hot for hours. Love the slim design; easy to hold; fits in truck holder. I bought two for me just in case I want to skip on the dishes one day and one for my Mother. If you ever offer a 16oz slim design in mint green, I will buy that one too.

This was one of the best purchases I made for a two-month trip to Guatemala. I was looking for a coffee brewing system that was simple, packed small, and made strong coffee. This worked fantastically! I made my coffee in this everyday, and was very pleased with how bold the coffee flavor was, and how easy it was to use. I stayed in homestays, AirBnBs, and hostels, and never had to worry about what kind of instant or watered-down coffee was being served! Sometimes I was able to get hot water from my host families, but other times I used an immersion coil heater to boil my water in the mug first. (After it boiled, I dumped the excess water out before adding the coffee). I knew cleaning would be a challenge due to the long and narrow shape, so I bought a spoon/fork combo that connects together to make a long utensil, and this worked perfectly for scooping the grinds out! I was also pleased that using normal medium-sized grounds worked fine in this mug, which simplified resupplying my coffee (didn’t have to find a way to get coarse grinds). And this kept my coffee HOT for hours. The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because the lid is not leak-proof. It’s just a silicone lid and would not protect anything, and you could not safely put this on the side of your backpack to carry with you. That was definitely a number, and almost a reason that kept me from purchasing in the first place. Bobble, please make a leak-proof lid, and then this product would be nearly perfect!

I like how this makes a "french press" cup of coffee ... Takes 2 scoops of coffee (2 tablespoons or can use bottom of insert to measure out the coffee) and about 14-15 oz of hot water. The screen is very fine so very little silt finds it way into the coffee,

I love that I was able to purchase this instead of a French press because I’m constantly on the go. This way, I can just boil my water, fill the container with coffee grounds, and pour in the water. I bring an extra tumbler with milk and sugar and then dump the finished coffee in once I get to my office! Color was as shown and easy to clean

I love everything about this cup from size to color to feel. However I dont like its 7 plastic and not food grade silicone. As general rule don't use 1,3,6,7 with heat and this being triple insulated is not a good plastic to use. I purchased it to cut down on my daily plastic pods (along with all other plastic effecting my health) I used but thats proving to be much harder than i thought it would. If your not concerned with leaching and long term effects (they're here lol), then it's perfect. Just be warned that most plastic lids and liners used for hot foods are 5 and hardly 7 for this reason. Silicone doesn't have recycling number.I tried buying food grade silicone lid. I only found one that fit and it did so because I used without strainer inserted, and it didn't hold up when knocked over, it jarred loose and spilled.I ended up returning and sticking to steel pod.

We like to drive rather than fly to our vacation destinations and sometimes we have to spend a night at a hotel where we get up very early the next morning to start our drive again. Sometimes it's hard to find an open coffee shop at the hotel or nearby and you never know how clean the coffee pots are in the hotel room, so we bought this, along with an electric kettle, to have coffee on the go.It easily fits in our overnight bag along with the electric kettle and now we have coffee first thing in the morning and don't have to stop along the way or wait for something to open up.We use regular Folgers coffee that is already ground and we haven't had any issues with coffee grounds in the coffee when using this. It's a little hard to clean but I find if you just add a little extra water to it and drain that out (don't press it) it loosens the coffee grounds a little and then you can throw them in compost.

Received as a gift. Wish it was larger. But it works PERFECT!! Easy to use and easy clean up!
