Woman Within Women's Plus Size Raincoat In New Short Length With Fun Dot Trim

I sized up from my normal size so I would be able to wear layers underneath. Even 1 size up the arms holes are too snug. I kept it because it took a few weeks to get and I can wear it, just not comfortably.

I sized up too large and loose, I wanted it loose but not a tent. Biggest issue it's not waterproof it actually absorbs all the rain it ends up just weighing a ton when wet... It's a no for being out in rain and that's why I got it.

Finally found a raincoat that fits just right. The last one I had lasted me for 14 years and really needed to be replaced...I literally wore it out. This is almost exactly like it. I am 162 pounds, 5 ft. I ordered a Medium (14-16) in black with the polka dot lining. The material is polyester inside and out. It has a little weight but is light enough to wear in any season...except, of course, during the heart of winter when snow and blizzard winds are freezing. During windy and cool Spring, days just layer. It's dressy enough to wear out even in the evenings. Like my other coat, it is water repellant I used the hood and an umbrella in the pouring rain and did not get wet. Also, it is long enough (thigh-high) so my legs did not get wet either. Well, that's it...I am truly overjoyed!!!

I anticipated getting this raincoat because I really needed it.I was so disappointed when I received it,it runs small and I went a size up.really nice coat, I really like it.

It is a cute jacket. I usually wear a 2x but every time I order something it is a little small so I went with a 3x. This jacket is big on me. So order your normal size

Was specifically looking for a casual rain jacket for my Mom that was water-resistant with a hood, but she wanted something that was still somewhat stylish. Did not want a sporty anorak type with a gathered hood, or with too many busy looking gathers or ties or pulls or do-dads all over it. The sleek tailoring and polka dot lining at the hood, cuffs and placket on this adds an extra flair too - particularly in the black. Very nice fabrication and the weight is just right - perfect for Spring and Fall, and the sizing allows for wearing even early Winter with a sweater underneath. Also like that it can be buttoned or zipped, or both. The only issue was the hood was bit large/deep and covered the eyes when pulled up over the head, but this was quickly remedied by folding the hood back a bit, like with the cuffs on the arms. Overall, very happy with this purchase.
