PARKERJotter XL Ballpoint Pen | Monochrome Matte Black | Medium Point | Blue Ink | Gift Box

I really like the Monochrome Matte Black finish on this fairly priced Parker Pen & I like the fact that there’s a Roller Ball option in this style as well as a Fountain Pen.It comes with blue ink & I prefer writing in black ink & the ink refills are relatively inexpensive so this isn’t a big issue. It’s nice & weighty (not too heavy or too light) making it easy to write with & the ink just flows evenly & smoothly & this is with the blue ink pictured for this review & I’ve since put a black ink refill in & it’s exactly the same fine quality writing. I have read about poor ink flow on here but even before I still went ahead & bought this I thought to myself ‘that has got to be down to the ink refill cartridge & not the pen’ as the pen really like most pens is just a carrying case for the ink.It’s a nice pen.

I was very excited when this particular PARKER JOTTER XL BALLPOINT PEN arrived. This particular Parker Ballpoint pen is marvelous and in my mind it is Luxury at a very competitive price. I am so impressed with this Parker Pen and thus my Wife and I are going to give this lovely Pen to my Wife's Cousin for his 70th Birthday. The Gift Box for this Pen, also provided by the Seller, enhances the presentation of luxury. I have had parker pens for 50 years I recently lost one so thought I would replace it. This pen is lovely but a lot heavier than the original and more bulky and not as shiny. Still a nice pen and writes well

I prefer this pen over the classic Parker Jotter as it fits my hand better and is more comfortable to use. It feels well made and I like that there is a range of colours to choose from . It comes as a medium point, although I've never really been a fan of Parker refills as I don't like the way they write, but it is very easy to find refills online.

I bought this pen plus the black Quinn gel refills for work, I can’t abide the throw away plastic pens. I’m no writer just a HGV driver.The pen writers beautifully with the added benefit of ergonomically fitting my writing style and hand.So much so I have order another one just in case of the classic can I borrow your pen question and you walk away pen less.(more fool me)It’s also something I can’t quite put in to words the look of appreciation/approval I get when asked to sign documents.

Found this while researching where to get a new Parker Jotter Stainless Steel pen, and was pleasantly surprised it came in black with the XL version. If you're concerned with the size, you shouldn't be, as my research shows it's only 7% larger, and I really like the feel. I don't feel a difference between it and the classic one beside the texture change with the different substrate. And it fits perfectly with my pocket notebooks so I'm beyond happy with my purchase.
