They strike out sentances smoothly, I can highlight my pages and these make sense in lots of memos and reminder situationsI just hope they do not deterirate in a warm atmosphere, as they will be useless if they dry out........(month or so later...still going

One was dried out but otherwise they're good and bright.

For the price, £1.61 for four, these highlighters are hard to to pick too many faults with, plus you shouldn't be expecting premium quality either. They work out at about 40p each, so I wasn’t expecting much anyway, and they’ve mostly done the job as I just purchased them for the kids who really don't need anything top quality. The colours are bright enough, and the chisel tips give you a choice between fine and broad lines, which I think is good enough.However, the green one already felt a bit dry from the start, and I had to go over the same area more than once. When I did, it ended up bleeding through the paper, which defeats the point a bit. That’s made me question how long these will actually last before drying out completely, especially if one’s already struggling on day one, and that's why I ended up giving them 3 stars - which me to me says they are distinctly average.That said, the pens are comfortable to hold, and the clip on the cap is useful for keeping one in a notebook or folder. If you’re just after something cheap for occasional use and you’re not fussed about ink consistency, they’re passable, and I think they are just about the right amount to spend on something for the kids, who will not be putting these through any serious use anyway.

Good strong colours, always handy for so many little tasks.
