Takes some effort but worth it
Having read the other reviews, I knew what I was in for. This is definitely a project and requires some minor woodworking knowledge. It’s a quality product, but extensive sanding and some cutting are required. The tolerances are tight, and I needed to do a lot of work to get the pieces to move freely. But once assembled I’ve found it to be a really useful tool in my model building. My main complaint is that the enclosed hardware is terrible. 4 of the 12 wing nuts were completely unusable, and I needed to buy replacements. The foam padding is also hard to get placed properly, and I’ll probably need to replace it with something else at some point.

WTF??
I had some issues putting the jig together...really not a biggie....the PROBLEM is I did not get ANY hardware ie bolts, washers, butterfly nuts.....I am attempting to contact the seller...Really folks, go with another brand; maybe one all plastic. This is crap**update** Just got off the phone with a non-english speaker who FINALLY managed to form the sentence " you must return product cannot send hardwear yes sorry"DONT BUY THIS CRAP. AND AMAZON "CS" IS A JOKE.

Very useful
I find this jig very useful for building planes. It holds the model in place freeing both my hands to work on the kit. It took some time to assemble because it was not always laser cut all the way through, requiring careful work with the hobby knife to complete the cut. The hardware is also substandard but functional. I would plan on replacing a few wingnuts for ease of use. I also purchased the biplane wing alignment attachment, but I don't feel it is a necessity for wing alignment. Resting the leading edge of the wings on the edge of a box will align them just as well and may be easier.

Nice Jig, be careful putting it together
I didn’t have too much trouble separating the pieces from the flat board. Do be careful. I did need to use an Xacto blade to get a few free. Do the base first like some have said. I found to easier the use a small rubber mallet to get the base down onto to tabs rather than hammering the tabs in place. The last steps are confusing. Attach parts 6 and 7 to 9, then push the tabs through the slots of the base and attach 8 underneath. Make sure the bolt holes line up. If you get one, you’ll see what I mean. Just my experience with it. Can’t wait to start using it.

Assembly is not for the novice
Experienced modeler, experienced woodworker, experienced Ikea assembler. Bona fides out of the way, this jig may ultimately proved very useful, but removing the pieces from the main ply sheet and then assembly are a nightmare. Everything every other review stated is true: the laser cuts do not go all the way through at any point and require laborious scoring, cutting, sanding, and even drilling to remove and then make the parts fit. If you stick with that process to the end, the assembly is befuddling, even for experienced assemblers. I resorted to a very good YT video by Flying Circus Models to get this thing together because the included directions are less than useless. I cannot understand why the manufacturer doesn't heed the feedback and 1) Increase the laser power by a few watts, and 2) write some decent instructions. Last caveat: I failed to note that one of the bottom stringers was missing (loose packed and apparently fell out of the package), and rather than go through the hassle of returning it and waiting for a replacement I crafted one myself using it's twin as a template. I should have waited for a replacement, but all's well that ends well. A parts list or shrink wrap that completely encapsulated the ply sheet would have avoided this hassle. Conclusion: Would I buy it again? No, because even though I know how to put it together now the process of freeing the pieces from the master sheet isn't worth the gray hair and splinters. Will it prove useful? I'm optimistically hopeful. Words to LMG? Read and heed the reviews because this product is almost there, you have a good design sabotaged by some serious execution flaws.

Great Idea. Poor Execution.
This is a handy tool for building scale model aircraft. For the one that I received, the laser did not cut all the way through the wood in many places. I had to spend half an afternoon manually cutting out the pieces using a sharp X-Acto knife, and since the jig is made out of plywood, the wood splintered. In addition, the included bolts didn't fit due to having too large of a head diameter so I had to source out some other bolts. The jig works well after all these issues have been sorted out.

Vague instructions.
The instructions were very vague, however after putting it together looks good and works fine.

Why didn't someone think of this sooner?
These guys in the Ukraine have really designed a smart tool. This jig is very easy to put together. You probably do not need glue, but I used it to give it added strength. All the pieces fit exactly as expected. Nothing was broken or bent, but the packaging was iffy. Here you see a couple of shots of my 1/32 P-40F (Hobbyboss) kit that I am working on.I wish I had one of these years ago when I was building airplanes non-stop. Oh, well, guess I'll just have to start up again. I'll be using this on the 1/32 B24D model I just bought. It might be a bit undersized for that behemoth! Thanks
