AIRCARE 1045 Replacement Console Wick, Black (1)

this is a manufacture only device. I use it in a humidifier that makes my very large bedroom the right humidity for day (40) or sleeping (50). It works very well until you approach the 90 day mark. At 70 ish days it works less well. At 80 ish days the wick is no longer doing it's job well. By 90 days Amazon delivers a new wick for me to replace the old one with. The cycle begins again...

The filter is exactly like the original fits perfectly have brought three over the years

I ordered this item to replace one that was at its end. They can harder to find and cost more in store sonic went this route! This is my 3 rd time ordering from this vendor the filter was in excellent shape and arrived on time.

Easy installation.

This product replacement arrived within two days (we are Prime Members with free two day shipping on certain products offered by Amazon). The product was packaged neatly without defect. In just three-to-four minutes the old filter was replaced with the new filter; and the humidifier was up and running again.There are no timely adjustments or difficult instructions to follow. The filters are well marked with what direction is the "Back" of the filter and which is the "Front." The old filter slides out (of pre-designed guides at the back of the humidifier) and new filter slides back in place easily.Below are some suggestions before you replace an old filter with a new filter.Make certain that the humidifier is unplugged from the electrical outlet and that the water level in the humidifier is below the base (bottom) of filter before removing the old filter. If the water level is not below the base of the filter, and the filter is removed, water will run out the backside of the unit when the old filter is removed.Thanks for the quick service Amazon. This unit fits very well in the humidifier which I use and it easy to replace.

The filter is not too bad to replace as you have to take the fan out. The problem is the water reservoir. It is a pain to fill and replace. There has to be a better design.

Expensive for what it is but need it for the older humidifier I have
