What I ordered
When buying curtains always check the back of the package so you know what kind of hooks you need! These are very new to me and something I never knew existed until now. The product itself does the job but they are a pain to insert into the curtains. I don’t think it’s the fault of the product but of the way you have to arrange the curtains to get them to hang nicely. Top tip use skewers to help you guide these into place!

Can't fault it. Pretty standard item though so look for whatever is cheapest
Not bad. Does as intended. Some cut ends are quite but sharp so catch on the hoop threads at times but I suspect they're all like this

Strong & Durable
This product gets 4 stars for its quality and strength. However, unbeknown to me at time of purchase, there are two types of hook. They look similar with 4 legs but this one has a flat top and the other a rounded top. This may seem trivial until you hang curtains up on an existing rail and find the top hem is almost 1” lower with the flat top hook. On closer examination I found the round top version has the hook part in a different position and consequently raises the curtain top hem to a higher level. This does a better job of hiding the rail when the curtains are closed. The hook position is an important measurement which was not provided in the description hence the 4 stars.

Good but not great
They have some sharp edges and some are a little misshapen. But they're definitely very sturdy

Perfect pinch pleats in minutes
I have been searching for ready made pinch pleat curtains but they all seem to be eyehole or pencil pleats. With these hooks you can use pencil pleat tape to create perfect pinch pleats. Just slip the prongs into the loops on the back of the tape. You can use adjacent loops or alternate loops to make two different sizes of pinch pleats. Obviously using alternate loops means you use more fabric but the pleats look richer. It is quite easy to insert the prongs once you work out a rhythm: put all four prongs into the first row of loops, then move on to the second row, then the third. That is much easier than trying to insert one prong fully then the next. My only tip would be to wear a rubber or latex glove on the hand holding the prongs because you will get a bit of metal dust off them.Very pleased with my purchase and my super new curtains. Quick delivery.

They are doing the job
They are good for the purpose, however it is really hard to get them in place - for some reason they are designed to spike your hand with a prick really painfully just exactly there where you HAVE to push it deep in its place to the curtain header. Perhaps those doing this for a job know better tricks but when you just try to make your home it is really a nightmare. I believe it wouldn't take much to re-design the thing, so it won't actually hurt so badly.
