Duncurin could feel a new porch light coming on and this nice lantern was offered on Vine; it makes for an ideal replacement.The light comes well protected in a square cross-section box which is taller than the cube. The glass lantern itself is protected in a polystyrene moulding.The light proper is nicely made with quality wire which if of a decent length and yet easy to shorten without compromising on structural or electrical safety. There is a nice strain relief grommet mounted on the mains wire. The lantern itself is of clear glass but has a nice thickened rim where it abuts the trim ring and is then screwed home in the lamp holder which is an Edison screw fitting. The lamp holder itself is a good weight and has a nice finish. Two styles are available.All the fittings, screws and rawl plugs come with it. My only reservation was the screw-cap wire joiners which I feel a bit nervous about but when I removed my old porch lantern it had a chocolate block connector which Duncurin used as I have more confidence in connecting mains wires this way.All in all, the whole thing came together really well and with a suitable Edison bulb the porch looks re-invigorated and has a nice modern contemporary feel to it. It goes without saying that one should not attempt this unless you know what you are doing and if so then of course seek the services of an electrician. Many thanks

Phansthy Retro Pendant Light Industrial Ceiling Lights .This is a really nice Retro Style Pendant light, it is really well made out of high quality materials with an excellent finnish to the glass and fitting.The Light comes with an easy to fit Bracket and 2m of cloth cable that can easily be adjusted.The light is requires an E27 bulb (not included so you get to choose your wattage and colour temps etc) and look absolutely stunning when fitted with a Retro style LED one.Overall a really nice light that will look great in any home, and at £39.99 at the time of reviewing its a great price too.

Just arrived so I haven't installed it yet, but the quality is lovely. Feels really nice and sturdy and looks expensive. This is great value for money (assuming it works OK).
