An improvement over the DP800II
The DP800III replaces the DP800II. The biggest improvements are the lower power output control, which allows you to dial down to a much lower setting than the previous generation and the improved connectivity with wireless strobe triggering via the Godox Xpro-N. In real personal tests, the recycle rate is actually better than 1 per second. My personal tests at various output settings found that the strobe really recycles at .3 seconds, same as the manufacturer states. At 75 percent output power its about 2.5 shots per second or up to 5 shots every 2 seconds. At that rate it will occasionally misfire. At 50 percent I had absolutely no misfires. At 100 percent or full output, the strobe occasionally recycles slower at closer to 1 shot per second. On seller's listing they are referring to the worst scenario when they list the 1 second recycle rate. The image of the watch attached was focus bracketed at 1 frame per second using 3 DP800III strobes.

Good product
The media could not be loaded. Good light source, however the speed ring is difficult to mount, you really have to play with it. It appears to only accept the Godox Bowen’s brand speed ring. The only real issue I see is that while attempting to insert the speed ring you might break the flash or modeling tubes, as you play with it during insert. Other than that I recommend it.

Seems of good quality, DON'T LEAVE MODELING LIGHT ON WITH PROTECTIVE COVER
The unit performs well, seems of good quality, mostly metal construction and seems well manufactured and thought out.The day I got it I was testing the unit with the modeling lamp turned on, finished up and then put the cover on. About a minute later I smelt melting plastic and noticed that the protective guard was melting around the bulb. I turned it off and removed it carefully, luckily everything but the guard survived.Moral of the story, the modeling bulb gets hot, really really really hot, and the guard is made of very melt-able plastic.

Very well built unit..I highly recommend
Over the years I've used a number of different monolight systems of varying output. This 800ws unit strikes me as being very well built, thoughtfully designed, and easy to use...especially with it's built-in radio triggering capability...that works beautifully in concert with accompanying Godox (similarly-equipped) speedlights. For the price..it would be very very hard to beat. Kudos Godox !!
