We love this camera! I did a lot of research before purchasing an instant print camera for my 11-year-old's birthday. I knew that overall it was a fun novelty item, but I also knew I couldn't invest in endless amounts of film, so printing photos that we didn't want was going to be frustrating. Having looked into so many different models (at least those in the less than $100 price range), I had resigned myself to the fact that it was what was going to happen - she'd have to learn to be judicious with her photos and also we'd just use an SD card for when she didn't have film.And then, JUST before I purchased a different model, Amazon suggested the Kodak Smile - and it was EVERYTHING I was hoping for! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that it has a screen for viewing the photos and she gets to pick which photos she prints. That was the ONE thing I was wanting in an instant-print camera. Of course, she loves getting to use it to take photos of her friends, and our vacations, and she's building up a small scrapbook with her prints (the Zink prints, btw, all have a sticky back, so they can just be stuck right into the book). And the option to review photos and re-print allows her to print multiple copies for friends.Now, I'll have to put the caveat that the photos are not the highest quality - I knew that was going to be the case with any of these cameras - but, again, she's 11, so it's good enough for her. Also, it's a little finnicky in that, in order to save a photo, you have to click the "OK" button after you click the shutter. That takes some getting used to and she's lost a few favorites when others were taking a photo of her, because they didn't know that feature. Finally, I was a little disappointed in the "filters" options - there are only black and white, sepia, and blue. And the only "frame" is either a white border or no border. I thought there would be some more fun things to play with in those, but that wasn't a deal breaker.Overall, she's very happy, and so are we!

This is a great basic instant camera that has a review screen on the back. Sliding the textured front cover to the open turns it on & closed, turns it off. There’s no date/time stamp, the flash is weak beyond 6feet. Battery is long lasting(shoot for 6-8H, minimal printing). Boot up takes 9-12 seconds depending upon if it’s warm from recent use or cold. Daylight bright sunlight the photos are very good but cloudy/foggy/ inclement weather even with AutoFlash is not good. Above are photos taken in foggy cloudy weather. They look much better on the camera-you can remove the micro SD card (maximum 256Gb) & insert into a computer for higher resolution. Now, if you’re printing & accidentally slide the case shut, the overall printed image becomes slightly darker & resolution decreases. Printing is fast (40-45sec) but the steps leading to print each image can be time consuming. You can shoot photos & decide which to print later or immediately. You can print using a variety of filters & the colors auto adjust at times. Recommend carrying a power bank with a micro USB cable to recharge it after taking/printing 40photos straight. Charging about 1-1.5H if you have 50% charge. Uses the Zink printing paper. You can use other Zink photo paper but you have to save the blue ID card that is initially ejected from the camera’s printer. RECOMMEND: Buy if you want a basic instant print camera.

This camera has been a wonderful gift for my 7 year old. We got it for her for her birthday because she wanted an instant camera. Knowing the price of film, I wanted to get her a camera where she could view the picture before printing to make sure it was “a good one” and worth the print cost (depending on quantity of zink photo paper purchased each print it around 40 cents). This has been easy for her to use independently and she loves it. The whole family was surprised by the quality of the photos - see attached cat picture. It’s very high quality! She has loved using the items in the bundle to add stickers to her pictures and frames. Having the case is really great, too. 10/10 would recommend!!

I did a compare and contrast for you guys versus the Fujifilm mini 8. First off I like the idea it is rechargeable even though it is a small lifespan depending how many times you print pictures. The first photo with the sunflowers was in the complete shade and I can see that the Smile Camera gets better background visual and more detail than the fujifilm. The succulents was in the semi shade yet still captures light and dark fairly well. I was quite surprised with the last photo with the potted plant. It was in the complete sunlight and the Smile camera was still able to grab colors versus the fujifilm that just looks plain white to me, you can hardly see any purple from the lavender flowers! Overall I am satisfied with this camera and fits well for the price. It is a tad smaller than the fujifilm if you slide the camera lens to close. If this camera had better battery life or a bigger screen it would be even better!

Vediamo adesso pro e contro di questo prodotto:👍 PRO 👍✔ Qualità di stampa: Questa macchina fotografica sfrutta la tecnologia ZINk, che non conoscevo, e non sapevo che le foto escono già colorare e non c'è bisogno di aspettare un tempo di esposizione. La qualità della stampa, diversamente da quello che si può pensare ottima: sia dal punto di vista risolutivo che di rendimento cromatico!✔ Schermo e Memoria: La marcia in più di questa macchina fotografica è certamente la presenza dello schermo che permette di visualizzare le foto prima di stamparle, ma la vera chicca è che permette di salvare più foto, sia sulla sua memoria interna che su una scheda esterna Micro SD, quindi è possibile scattare più foto per poi selezionare quelle da stampare, anche in un secondo momento. Questa può sembrare una sciocchezza ma ho visto altre macchine che permettono solo di visualizzare sul momento la foto scattata per poi decidere se stamparla o cancellarla, quindi una volta fatta la scelta non è possibile tornare indietro.✔ Software: Il software è molto semplice ed intuitivo, nel menù è presente la galleria e la possibilità di attivare o disattivare il flash, ma la funzione migliore è certamente quella che permette di modificare la foto. Difatti come è possibile vedere nel video allegato, è possibile aggiungere dei bellissimi filtri o il bordo, quest'ultimo molto utile per scrivere qualcosa sulla foto (la data o il momento di scatto).👎 CONTRO 👎❌ Materiali: al tatto non sembrano di altissima qualità, difatti anche quando si apre per scattare la foto o si inserisce la carta per la stampa si sentono degli strano scricchiolii...spero solo che regga nel tempo, ma ho fatto un po' di prove di resistenza cercando di piegarla o di fare pressioni sulla scocca e fortunatamente non ho notato rotture o peggioramenti della situazione.📝 CONCLUSIONI 📝In conclusione possiamo dire che è un'ottima macchina fotografica, stampa bene le foto e permette anche di modificarle, a questo prezzo non ho trovato di meglio. C'è solo l'incognita sulla scocca ma cercando anche online non ho trovato persone che lamentavano rotture..quindi nel caso di problemi futuri aggiornerò la recensione!Sottolineo anche che non ho parlato di qualità fotografica, poiché questa Kodak non serve per ottenere lo scatto perfetto, è banale dire che gli smartphone di ultima generazione scattano foto nettamente migliori di questa...ma la sua funzione è quella di poter stampare su carta un ricordo di una persona o di un luogo visitato!Se questa recensione ti ha tolto qualche dubbio e per te non è un problema, clicca sul tasto "Utile"!

Wenn überhaupt, dann ist das Design das einzig Positive an diesem Gerät.Die Bildqualität und Druckqualität ist selbst für eine Sofortbildkamera grottenschlecht!!! Hinzu kommt, dass das vorhandene Display, welches auch als Sucher dient, viel zu klein und ungeeignet ist. Insbesondere die Auswahl des Bildausschnittes ist hierüber nur bedingt möglich. Die mangelhafte Objektivbrennweite wirkt sich dabei noch um ein Vielfaches negativer aus, da man hiermit ohnehin kaum genügend aufs Foto bekommt. Und auch die Ausdrucke sind in Farbgebung / Bildschärfe / Brennweite eine Katastrophe, jedenfalls in meinem direkten Vergleich mithilfe einer Polaroid SnapTouch 1.2.Die Menüsprache ist nur Englisch und einige wenige Optionen auswählbar (Bildrahmen, Helligkeit/Farbmodi). Datum / Uhrzeit für Zeitstempel sowie andere Features sind nicht vorhanden.Alles in allem ein desolates Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis und überaus enttäuschend!!!

Comencemos diciendo que viene en un paquete muy bonito.Viene con un cable de carga, un manual de instrucciones y una docena de hojas para usar de inmediato.La calidad de los materiales es buena (el plástico da una sensación de baja calidad), pero no, resulta ser muy sólido y bien construido.La pantalla en la parte posterior no es táctil, y no es la pantalla más hermosa jamás vista. Pero no da igual, de hecho es suficiente ver que la foto ha llegado bien y no granulada para poder imprimir.Fácil de usar, simplemente deslice el panel, inserte la tarjeta y la microSD y listo: ya está listo para usarlo.Comencemos diciendo que la calidad de impresión es definitivamente mejor que la otras cámaras de marca que tengo. De hecho, los colores resultan ser más hermosos y nítidos.La lente es lo suficientemente brillante. Y las fotos son muy nítidas como he dicho. cámara le da la posibilidad de editar un mínimo de fotos, incluyendo un filtro o un marco blanco. Ho comprato questa kodak per un regalo, ho avuto una bella sorpresa.. Un incrocio tra la vecchia polaroid e una fotocamera digitale. Scatola integra, e spedizione veloce. La cosa sensazionale è che ha un piccolo schermo per scattare e visualizzare la foto , e in più si può aggiungere un micro SD per poter tenere le foto sulla fotocamera. Si può scegliere cosa stampare e cosa cestinare e modificare con filtri, bordi o non. La qualità è buona, tenendo presente che è sempre un'istantanea. Consigliatissima!
