Works
It works well with the two 4K Samsung TVs I have this connected to. Keep in mind it does not pass 4K, I’m only using it to split a cable box. Very easy to install and the built in IR system works as it’s supposed to.

Great CAT5 wire extender for HDMI
I purchased a HDMI extender several years ago to connect a 100 foot HDMI cable from my Tivo system to the master bedroom TV. The HDMI splitter - booser lasted about two years, then stopped working. Two years after replacement and I needed to replace it again. The third time I was determined to find a better way. This CAT cable extender for HDMI can work at distances far greater than the 100' I needed to run. I used CAT 6 cable with no problem. This unit included an infared remote control eye and transmitter that allows my Tivo remote control to function from the bedroom, operating the Tivo located in the media room. Other than needing to run the cat cable thru the walls and attic, installing the system was simple, with easy to understand instructions.

At first I thought this was the best thing ever
At first I thought this was the best thing ever. It hooked up easily, immediately showing up on my TV. Quality was great and I was a happy camper. After about 2 weeks we started noticing that we would have to reset it every morning, and then after I had it for a month it died altogether and I was not a happy camper.Initially I left a negative review because the product didn't last at all and I thought the warranty had run out, but I got an email from the folks who sold it. They quickly sent me a new one and informed me that the warranty is actually for 18 months. I got it earlier this week, and am happy to report the new one is working just great. Seriously, it takes all of 5 minutes to set up. Maybe 6. I'm a happy camper again.

I love the HDMI Ethernet solution.
The HDMI out allowed me to combine an extra Ethernet extender to the network.. My church was having a very difficult time with the lengthy HDMI runs. This solved that issue, and everyone loves the multiple displays. Thanks.. Also quick delivery and great quality.

The worse part was that there was no technical support number ...
I got the link lights to stay solid between the two devices and got the connected TV to display the "Bluray" logo every time before the screen goes blank. I think the problem is related to DMCA where when anything copyrightable comes on, it stops displaying. On the other hand, I had it connected to the HDMI output of my camcorder displaying live feed going to the same TV yet it wasn't displaying that either. I tried using a Samsung Computer Monitor, which has an HDMI input, and it had the same behavior as the TV. I used two different brand new 50' Cat 6 Ethernet cables. The worse part was that there was no technical support number in the owner's manual. The manual itself said contact info might not be in the manual. The product came in a plain brown box. Since there was no one to assist me with this product, I returned it.

Doesn't work. AV technician came and tested all other components and determined this device was the problem.
Product did not work on arrival. Will not transmit 1080P signal as described. I hired an AV technician who verified my 50' cat 6 wire was working and we also tested the device on 3' cat6 patch wire. Nothing worked properly. I got a snowy signal over the 3' wire and no signal over the long run. I missed the 30 day return window messing around with it in the little free time I have and waiting for a technician. Now I'm stuck with this garbage.A second AV technician I consulted with said 1080p signals today need to go over 2 cat wires and this product is no longer a viable option.Update 11/9. The seller issued a 50% refund even though it was a little past the 30 day return window. They said they would issue a 100% refund if I removed my negative review. They proceeded email me weekly asking me to remove my review. I'm not removing it. My review is the truth.

Minor quirks but overall nice product.
I was really excited when I hooked this up. Perfect solution to a problem I have with multiple TV's in different rooms where an HDMI cable won't reach. I first hooked it up with an existing CAT6 cable that I had already. There was a lot of flicker and the screen going in and out. I replaced the cable with a brand new Cat6 cable and that worked flawlessly. I also have some sound issues when I first hook it up (the speakers pop multiple times before the image stabilizes) but I'm not sure if maybe that's related to the projector I have the speakers plugged into? Also note to those who may purchase this... you will have to factor in the cost of an extra HDMI cable or two since there is one for the extension and one for the input. Also didn't count on both stations requiring power but again that's minor. Overall though I'm happy with this purchase.

Simple to use. Works great! 2nd output very useful
Bought this to use for corporate events and weddings for my mobile DJ business. Costs the same to rent "brand name" PRO equivalents, so I gave it a try.I had issues when I initially tried it out for testing prior to use. Turns out it is very picky on the CAT cables. The 40M CAT6 cable I bought never worked, I thought the unit was faulty. I tried with a 3M CAT-5E and it worked until the image was too bright (white background home screen on PC) yet a 30M CAT5E worked effortlessly with no issues.Works great with that cable, I had no issues since. The remote is useful as well.

Loses pairing but otherwise great
Using in my travel trailer to send video from a media server in the bedroom to the living area. Works great with Ethernet cable. Downside is it loses pairing every couple of days and needs to be resynced, which is easy enough but a bother. Haven't tried the IR Blaster yet but that's one of the reasons I bought this one, for future expansion.
