Q: Does this record continuously while the vehicle is running, and does it have audio for the interior?

Yes to both answers, however if you loose power, it has no back-up except for the actual video on a video card you may have installed.

Q: Are you able to turn off cabin recording and still have the rest recording?

There is only cabin recording if you have the cameras pointed toward the cabin. I am unsure if you can turn off the audio.

Q: Will the rear camera allow pictures to be taken of Tailgators?

This model camera doesnt last so much. It got broken after 5-6 wks use. I dont recommend the purchase of it. The main screen started blinking and shutting down, no more useful. I had to remove the memory card.
