Works perfectly

I used this in my yard to pick up acorns from my two oak trees. Compared to picking up the acorns by hand, this was waaay better. I pulled it out of the box and pretty quickly filled a shopping bag with acorns. My only caviat is that you have to be right on top of the acorn, and the barrel is so small, that it takes a good bit of effort to go all over the yard. Not sure if a wider/longer barrel would fix this?

We love these. We now have two. The large one is great for the walnuts, the small one is great for the acorns and small green walnuts.

My wife and I are at the mercy of oak trees that surround us on our property. It seems each year that we get an even bigger 'bumper-crop' of acorns that at times is almost overwhelming. And so multiple times a year we rake and rake and do our best to pick-up those cursed nuts!! It's a lot of work for anyone....even worse when you get to be our age.And so like everyone, we sought out a way to make the task easier. We've noticed this product before and it seemed to be something that could prove useful, however I'm a bit surprised this gets as good reviews as it does. It's small and even though it does work somewhat in getting acorns into the cage, you really need to work at it. And when you consider the volume of acorns that we have on the ground sometimes, it just isn't worth the effort in the scope of things. Honestly, it's more efficient raking them up!! The concept is good...in reality it doesn't really work very well. Like I said...save your money. BTW...best thing any of us could do is to invent something that really does work! You'll make millions AND save us all time and energy having to annually deal w/this dreaded task!!!

Picks up acorns wonderfully, easy to use with a comfortable handle and grip .

Not only the product does not work but the refund process is much more inconvenient compared to the general amazon purchases. The only option to return product is to drop off at a UPS store and it needs to be put in a box or they are not going to accept the product. Due to the length of this item, it’s difficult to find a box that fits this item unless you have the original box that was shipped in or purchasing one at the UPS store.

Works great for the small pecans our trees have. Husband picked up hundred of pecan last fall.

the roller is built well and lives up to my expectations. I just wish it were easier to empty and was bigger as I fill it up QUICK. so far I have probably picked up at least 5 bushels of acorns. I wish it picked up caps too, but I assume it’s probably good that it doesn’t because it would probably pick up other stuff too. it isn’t easy to pick up lawn marbles in taller grass, but that’s just how these things work.
