Rectorseal 83210 2 EZ 210 Standard Smart Trap Kit

I like that these safety switches came as described in a timely manner. They are high quality and work great.

See thru trap means it’s clearly visible when it needs cleaning, and there’s an attached bottle brush to do this. Float switch included. This should be used on every new install, why it’s not escapes me. Price certainly isn’t the issue.

AC unit drain trap froze in attic and started leaking. I replaced it with this Rectorseal 83210 EZ trap and it fit perfectly. Saved myself a $99 service call. I will be sure to winterize this trap so it doesn’t crack if the temperature gets below freezing in the attic again.

You'll need PVC glue and primer, or a "one-step" PVC glue.

It's an extra safety and well worth the cost of not having your ceiling fall through!

Worked as designed

Good parts for ensuring that the air handler doesn't screw up the ceiling. Better than the crummy premaid p traps from the big box store.

A must for any condensing HVAC install.
