This item was better than expected. I did a pre boil steam with vinegar and water, hand washed and then put it in the dish washer. I placed my food on top of a steam insert, which annoyed me because my steam inserts fit, but getting it out was a pain. Fits perfectly for silicone steam inserts though. Very spacious to add inserts in this item (bamboo inserts etc.). However, my 12-inch metal steamer inserts touch the sides. Not a big deal, as I may just use a silicone steam sheet instead.Boiling the items at full blast, kept the liquids inside and did not shake violently. The items I cooked, cooked evenly and well. Pretty easy to clean too, the flat surfaces make the item simple enough to clean. I am happy for this purchase.

We are happy with this purchase. This steamer set is very functional. It is designed well and stores in a very compact fashion thus maximizing cabinet space. However, the quality is not very high as the metal is very thin which is why it is so cheap. If you're looking for something that you will pass on to future generations, then don't get this product.

This little steamer is great! Always used a steamer basket in a pot and this is a game changer! Makes steaming so easy. Love the window on top. Easy to clean. Plenty of room for an entire meal. It’s actually fun to use.

So much better than an electric one. It’s big, modular, and sturdy enough. Perfect size for my induction stove.

12.03.22: I've been looking for this kind of multi-purpose cooker! My mom used this kind only wider when preparing food for us when we were young. So today, I just used it for the first time. I made Beef Udon soup from my leftover frozen (tough) roast beef from Thanksgiving. As the beef was boiling and being tenderized, rice was also being cooked in the second layer steamer. When the rice was cooked, I then cooked the noodles in the same steamer. This is the "perfect" multi-tasking cooking machine if it can be called as such!12.09.22: I really love this cooker! Steaming rice is even faster than using a rice cooker. I used the rice cooker pot and it only took 20 minutes. No spill mess! Very fluffy rice, yum yum yum. Carb goodness!

I have never owned or used a steamer before. Therefore, my concerns about the structural integrity of the steamer may be an overreaction.I have included photos to show the condition of the inside and outside of my pot after using it for the first time on a gas stove.Is it normal to have the unsightly and permanent discoloration after first use?Likes:• It looks like a beautiful steamer pot in my kitchen. The stainless steel is nice and shiny.• The pot is easy to use and seems to do a good job.• The clear viewing window at the top of the steamer is an excellent feature.• I like the fact that it has three levels to steam different types of food. I think it makes sense to steam meat on the lower level, veggies on the middle, and Chinese pork buns on the top. However, you have the flexibility to just use one or two levels if you just want to steam a single food item.Dislikes:• I’m concerned about the structural integrity of the steamer. The round steamer levels are somewhat flimsy. You will need to be careful when you wash them to make sure you don’t bend them.• The staining at the bottom of the pot (inside and outside) could suggest trouble in the future.• Food located near the side walls of the steamer did not seem to cook as well as food in the middle. This may mean that you have your best success locating your food over the perforated holes on the steamer levels.

Didn’t realize how big this item is, the amount I can steam in this thing blow my mind. Think of your largest pot with 3 layers of steaming haha

The media could not be loaded.  This is my 1st steam pot ever. It is organized and convenient-- comparing with the old style steamer that my sister has. However, i think it is a little bit thin, but not too thin. I hope it will last and not easy to be dent.

On peut y cuire de gros artichauts, des poissons entiers (turbots, bars, etc.) avec flux de vapeur réduit mais surtout:l'empilage a été bien étudié et il ne prend pas la place d'un camion dans le meuble de rangement.Donc si vous avez une bonne cuisinière à induction (programmable, flux de chaleur réglable), pourquoi acheter un cuit-tout vapeur avec générateur électrique de vapeur? Il prendra plus de place, sera plus onéreux et cuira pour beaucoup moins de personnes! Sans compter l'obsolescence (programmée ou pas du contrôle-commande)

Beau produit , hélas du made in china et il n'y a aucun mode d'emploi il serait bien de m'en faire parvenirun et si possible en français

Produit de qualité, très astucieux, pratique et fonctionnel à souhait.Cependant les 2 grilles vapeurs de diamètre différent sont un peu légères au niveau robustesse du métal - difficile de trouver ces accesoires pour un supplément de grilles. Les poignées chauffent . Dans l ensemble, la cuisson est rapide. Facile d entretien.
