Amazing Book!
This is probably one of the best book I have ever read on 'Self Improvement', or should I say on 'luck'? Mr. Sanghi did an amazing job. He compiled plethora of lucky people's habits in to 13 habits. Wait! there's a suspense in last chapter. Haha!It was truly amazing to read all the complied habits, and at one time, after completing this book by 20-30%, I truly began to feel that luck is not what gods grant us, we grant it to ourselves. The thing that I didn't like is that some of the last chapters were out of the subject. I couldn't relate those habits with luck. But that's my opinion. Other readers may have different opinion.I would definitely refer this book to pessimists. I know insane amount of people who always think that they are not competent. Whenever opportunities strike them, they first see the negative side, and then, but not always, the positive side.I would definitely like to thank Mr. ashwin Sanghi for this amazing book. It's great to see that, nowadays, Indians are also trying to write books on topics that are not traditional.

Too many examples
He made very good points with really good examples but no one can remember all that. He could have made good points and had more substance in the chapters rather than stopping after every sentence to give an example. It's really messes up with the overall flow of the book. I feel like I am just reading snips of cut out stories from various things. It's more of a college made of examples than a book

Good message sapped by too many stories and anecdotes
The message from the book is good and the takeaways are practical. I found that the balance between content and anecdotes was lost. A shorter book with concise content could have been more useful.

Nice read!!!
I picked up this book hesitantly assuming that it would be one of those gyaan books...the book is power packed with loads of stories and anecdotes to keep you alive and interested in the content with doses of gyaan. The author has done justice to the topic and has presented his findings in a very interesting manner. All in all this was a good read.

Gud work done
As the name suggests, Ashwin has justified the title to his best in such a way that each and every page of the book will be enjoyed by his readers. The language used is so simple that it reminds me of a sentence....."it is very difficult to write a book which is very easy to read..." Gud one.

Worth a few reads indeed
A nice short and simple read that connects with you instantaneously! Ashwin Sanghis experiment with non-fiction may not be as intense as his fictional masterpieces, but nevertheless connects with its readers and in the process leaves you with a few useful tips....Enjoyed reading it..

Give it a pass !
I haven't read Ashwin Sanghi's other books but was aware of him as a successful fiction writer. I should have taken the clue from the fact that this book was selling for Rs. 25 just after few weeks of getting published. The book reads like a collection of apocryphal stories about famous people and events. Coincidentally, I had just read Max Gunther's work (which Ashwin has quoted in his book) before picking up this book. Ashwin starts with few borrowed ideas from Max's book but I don't think he has added any original thought to them. He could have written a few blog posts about this instead of publishing an entire book and try to piggy-back on his earlier successes. I don't respect writers who don't add original thought to previously published work. I think author's strong suit is fiction and he should stick to it. He is off my list for next 10 years. You can safely give this book a pass. Instead, read Max Gunther's book.

Little above average book. Nothing exceptional but for those who are reading such type of self help books for the first time it is a good book. It is too generic in thoughts & at times one feels it is a book of quotes. But on an average an inspirational book.

Good book with a lot of stories
I liked the book because for every point the author tried to make he followed up with a simple story. I personally loved the painting story from the Authors life about how painting could be done only after the old paint was removed. The author beautifully emphasized the importance of unlearning with this simple yet powerful story. But I found too many stories or quotes about the same point was really not needed. The author has about 5 stories for each point. I agree stories are important and powerful but this book can be easily reduced to 60% if the pattern of telling too many stories would be avoided.

Worth a read and assimilating in real Life.
It is a nice short motivational book like many other books in the market. If one combines it with Dale Carnegie's How to make Friends and Influence People, one can learn a lot about how to climb the wall to success.Examples quoted are good, even though some of them were often quoted elsewhere.Leave apart the discussion of whether there is something called Luck and if one can become Lucky by following all the 14 rules, one can for sure adopt the healthy and positive approaches mentioned in the book to be better equipped to meet Success in his life.I would recommend this book to anybody who is beginning to loose heart after meeting failure. A regular read of such books helps one introspect and pin point the cause of failure giving an opportunity to correct and try once again...again...till you become Successful.I loved the way Ashwin Sanghi ended the book - a short story to remind the readers that the most important success in life is to be among your family members, enjoying a cup of coffee with them and leading a contended life in your house.Everything else comes after that!Absolute truth.

Recommended and unmissable
his book surely has the potential of changing one's life and approach. The 13 steps that Ashwin has discussed as easy to implement and therefore this book is going to work with the masses. The examples that he has given on almost every page are so inspirational that you'll want to cut each of them and paste in on every wall of your home. From Facebook, Google, Flipkart, Whatsapp to Walmart, Ratan Tata, Ambani, Lakshmi Mittal to Amish Tripathi, Chetan Bhagat to Sachin Tendulkar and Amitabh Bachchan- Ashwin Sanghi has given every type of example to prove his point and make you believe that it's possible even for you. I also liked how he ended the book by discussing EQ and introducing LQ. The 14th step added in the end is also a wonderful post-climax. The best part is that Sanghi kept the book short and didn't make it 500-pages thick as mostly motivational books are sidelined because of their over-description and case-studies. Also, at Rs. 100, this book is GOD. Yes! And Amazon is giving it for Rs. 50. If you even once cursed luck for your failure, do read this book as you will know how luck is in your own hands. And mind you, don't think that the point has been over-exaggerated in a theoretical manner. It's not. It's as genuine as our casual talks. Get the book. I rate it 4.5 out of 5. GO FOR IT!!!

13 steps and the first step after reading is , that I have started reviewing with confidence.
I have read this book within 3 days, this is a very good book where you can have a lot of anecdotes. There is a lot of information and learning from this book. It helps you to understand what really luck means. And I have to mention the chapter with name " attitude and approach" which gave me strength. Here onwards I'll definitely read Ashwin Sanghi books and his 13 steps series. This is my first book from this author. So I thought to genuinely appreciate his efforts in making us read till last page, it inspired me to review on a full scale. Keep it up Ashwin thanks for the good book with natural content.

Read and implement
Prior to this, I had read 13 Steps To Bloody Good Wealth by the author. The same thing goes for both the books – If you follow the techniques and tips that are given, you will benefit a lot from this book. If you don’t, you won’t get much out of it.13 Steps To Bloody Good Luck by Ashwin Sanghi explains what exactly "luck" is and how you attract it into your life. While this book is a fast read and I found a lot of logical and useful things, I felt that the same thing was repeated again and again. Seek more opportunities, grab the right ones, follow your intuition and be nice. There are also stories of many people on almost every other page and while that may be interesting to many readers, I found it quite tedious
