Chef'n Salad Chopper Shears Lettuce Cutter Fast Efficiency Prep Tool Green

This works great, better than expected

This is excellent if you eat a lot of salad. You can just throw the lettuce into your bowl and give it a few chops and it’s good to go.

I bought this salad chopper for my mom for mothers day 2013 because she and I would always go to the Fairway supermarket to buy chopped salads as a mini tradition, and I thought, Why not make it ourselves and save money? When I ordered this we were a little apprehensive because it didnt have the sharp blade that we were used to seeing, but we soon realized there was really no reason to be at all! This chopper chops so well! It's totally not just for lettuce! We added hard-to-chop things like chicken, raw broccoli and cauliflower, and even raw carrots and it went right through everything! Some more pros: *It doesn't have a dangerous, sharp blade so its more safe around the little ones (thought i would still avoid having it near them, haha), *it's EASY TO WASH. I dont know about dishwasher safe since we don't have one, but it is easy to clean and the two shears split apart a bit so you can go into the corners and clean in there. *Save money going to buy chopped salads! We avoided adding things like chickpeas and diced carrots to our salads that we bought because they add a lot of weight, and can cause the salad to go up to even $10. Save money by making your own, fresh, salad with hands that you trust! Overall: great buy, and a great mothers day (or any other day) gift for the salad lovers like us!

I was blown away by the Chef'n SaladShears! The secure grip made it easy to handle and the comfortable handle made chopping a breeze. What impressed me the most was how easy it was to clean - no more struggling to get bits of lettuce out of tiny crevices! Overall, this chopper is a game changer. Works good? More like works GREAT.

I love salad. I love buying lettuce at a bargain at our local ranch market. I HATE chopping it. Well, those days are over! This gadget actually works, and fast! I bought it with my fingers crossed, based on the reviews, and I must say, I wish I'd seen this sooner. It's easy to use, a breeze to rinse clean and most importantly, it WORKS! Hooray!!

I have been looking for a way to chop my salads in a convenient way. The “sets” that I’ve seen have given me pause due to price and I have been unable to find any sets in store. I decided to try this gadget. Now when I tell you I loved it from day 1. I love sub sandwiches but due to health reason I have reduced the amount of bread that I can eat but I still love the same fillings. There is one place that has an unwich that contains my favorite topics but wrapped in lettuce. Using this gadget, I am able to turn it into a chopped salad so I can feel like I am not missing out (see picture). This blade is made of very strong plastic with “teeth” and it saws back and forth and requires very little effort to chop. I would 100% recommend.

Ehh... Not super impressed, which is a bummer because I wanted this for a while. It works, just not great.

My wife absolutely loves this (and can't keep from mentioning it each time she uses it). It really does cut up the salad nicely in a bowl. She often grabs some Romain leaves along with other items including a deli chicken slice, puts it all in a small stainless-steel bowl, then goes to town. Perfect lunch salad.

Ainda não testado, mas as coisas dessa marca costumam funcionar muito bem e tem qualidade. É uma marca consolidada no mercado e renomada. Vai na lava louça e creio que serve para cheio verde também. Espero ter ajudado.

I hated eating salads before discovering Subway's chopped salads, so rather than pay $10 to always have one, I bought this tool instead. No regrets whatsoever! This tool chops anything you would want in a salad (greens, chicken, steak, cucumbers, peppers, etc) flawlessly. Now I'm eating healthy chopped salads all the time! I would definitely recommend this tool to anyone who likes chopped salads!
