Paper quality is very good! Works well with gel pens , highlighters, have not tried with fountain pens, though. Spacious writing area and serves the purpose for purchase. I love the sturdy plastic front cover, got it in white and I had fun putting stickers on it! Perfect for what I need. This is an excellent buy.

Five star makes the BEST school notebooks on planet Earth!!!! As a freshman who takes an unhealthy amount of notes, the large pages are perfect, plus it’s cute and so sturdy! Pages are sooo easy to rip out. It’s thin so it easily fits in my backpack and I love the amount of color options for subject organization.

There are moments in life when words fail us. Birth. Love. Grief… but also… Reviewing a Notebook. It will not be easy.. but I shall try.. This is Notebook. There are 100 pages in Notebook. These pages are made of paper. The paper pages are not too thin or too thick. No cuts or injuries have been caused by these paper pages… yet. Notebooks’ paper pages do not swipe. No. They turn. It is a common mistake. Notebook supports the ancient practice once known as… “writing”. It is a fading practice. There was once a style of this writing called “cursive”… it was a style where all the letters held hands… and feet. It was beautiful. But alas, this style is no longer taught to the miniature humans in schools and will likely die out similar to that of its sister language, Latin. It was, however, this “cursive” that inspired the evolution of an adapted writing style called “scribble”. Scribble is a complex writing style only a very select few can decode: doctors, highly experienced nurses, parking inspectors, traffic cops… and my mother. Notebook accepts this scribble. Celebrates it. Even keeps it together through the spirals. Notebook does not share or judge what is scribbled upon its paper pages. Nor what is drawn, or doodled within the margins. Notebook is not connected to a network. It is analog… primitive… untethered. You can trust Notebook. And although these writing practices are becoming more rare, they have inspired an even newer evolution of communication… one where opposable thumbs are used to tap tiny glowing rectangles one letter or brightly colored hieroglyph at a time… A Hieroglyph is now more commonly known as an Emoji. And this form of communication is how I am communicating with you now. But one must never forget the importance of these ancient writing practices and the pages upon these practices mark. Has a really nice back, the pages are a bit thin but as long as you use the right type of pen the ink doesn't go through.

back fell off of it and the paper holder things ripped lol. but i made it work. i also abuse my notebooks in my bag but whatever. i need a more durable one apparently. still works well and has lots of good quality paper
