Does this toaster have lift and look which lets you raise the bread during toasting

Greetings I can confirm that there is a "Cancel" button on this toaster which allows you to bring bread up during toasting. I was given this toaster as a birthday gift and I would highly recommend it. It works well and looks really good.

Have just taken toaster out of box and the lever won't stay down on side to toast. Is this a fault ?

Hiya, sounds like it. Lever should stay down. I know this may sound obvious but have you turned the power on? lever will automatically jump back with no power on all toasters. I forget sometimes and kick myself when bread has not made the transistion to luvly toast😇

Is ours faulty? Even with only 1 slice in it, it burns the side thats in the middle but bearly toasts the outside face.

We’ve owned the same toaster for approx one year now and we to have found that it does not toast slices of bread on both sides evenly. One side is toasted more than the other so it appears this a common issue but possibly therefore not a Fault. But this would depend on what you’d expect from a toaster in the first place. It could therefore bcc ex consider a fault as per one’s expectations etc. We are not accustomed to returning items labeling them as ‘faulty’ & have just got on with it but will often remove & flip slices over for a short period to help better toast the ‘least toasted side’. Plus we have been keen to keep the toaster as we have a matching Tower electric kettle & both items compliment out dark navy coloured kitchen furniture.
