I am not one to pay up for cuteness alone, but I have two daughters who are 17 months apart so I AM willing to pay up for clothes that will last for the next 2-3 years. These bathing suits absolutely do! We have had many versions of these suits and I am in love with the quality, thickness, and SPF. Plus, they are absolutely adorable.One note on sizing, for my potty trained 33lb three year old, we still order 2T or else the bottoms fall down!

This is probably the third or fourth RuffleButts swimsuit that I've bought for my daughter, we love them so much. Every time she needs a new suit, they are my first choice. The quality is always amazing, and the styles are so cute. We have yet to replace them due to wear, we have only replaced due to her growing out of them. The long sleeve rash guard is a must have here in Florida. My daughter just turned 2 and wears size 5T, and the size 5T fit her perfectly. I love that they make two piece swimsuits in the larger sizes because she is still wearing diapers. Since the one pieces in the larger sizes do not have snaps at the bottom, we go with a two piece for easy diaper changes. Will definitely be looking at RuffleButts for the next size that she needs!

This is my older daughter's fourth summer wearing Rufflebutts swimsuits (and the second summer for my younger daughter, who gets the hand-me-downs). Unfortunately my family has battled skin cancer, and I deeply desire for it to end with my generation. As a result, we are intentional about covering up and wearing sunscreen. Bonus: these suits are adorable and modest.This is the first time I've ever been disappointed with a Rufflebutts suit. The bottoms of this suit have faded horribly after four wears. Two have been in the public pool, two in a salt water pool. The suit has always been promptly and thoroughly cleaned after wearing. But the bottom of the suit is nowhere near its original color, and does not match the top. My daughter doesn't care, or even notice, but these aren't cheap.Fit is pretty good. Bought 4T for my almost 4-year-old who weighs 36 lbs. and is about 38" tall. I wish the top were a bit longer, but the waist stays in place, so no droopy bottoms.

I wish I could say I love this suit. It's super cute and i love the design, but that's it! The suit feels super durable until I hand washed it the first time. First thing I noticed was wrong right off the bat is the tag for RuffleButts is sewn on upside down! Even my 6 year old noticed it! Lol! Then after I followed the washing instructions the top ruffle started to come undone. I have to say I'm not impressed. I'll have to sew the ruffles all on secure to make sure they dont come undone too. It's a shame because my daughter absolutely adores this suit. The material itself also held onto alot of sand and dirt particles. Most come out while washing but it's hard to get clean by hand. Unfortunately, as cute as they are, I would not buy these again for durability reasons.

We’ve had rufflebutt swimming suits in the past and had no issue. But this particular fabric of the desert cactus is terrible. After one swim and a wash according to instructions the fabric turned a gross grey purple color all throughout. No bleach was added so I assume it was the chlorine from the pool. If that is the case then this fabric should not be used for a swimming suit that will be in chemicals that could change its color.Also the washing instructions were ridiculous for a child’s swimming suit. And even when followed they didn’t work.I received a partial refund from Amazon but even so it is not worth the money for a little kids swimming suit especially if they only wear it ONE TIME.

My 3-year old really loved the bathing suit! She typically wears 3t sometimes and 4t for a loose fit. I ordered the 4t and it fit her perfectly; not tight! We haven’t tried it out in the sun, but so far the quality looks fantastic!

My little one is petite for her size and currently inbetween 18/24 month clothes and almost 2yrs old. 23lbs. I purchased the 18-24 moth size and it looks a tad bit on the smaller side but will definitely still fit her this season. I purchased the 18-24 month because I was worried about the bottoms being too big if I went up to the 2T, I'm glad I purchased her normal size

Pros: it’s cute and perhaps for some it will do it’s job which is protect baby from sun and obviously to swim in.Cons: my baby is three months 23 inches and a whooping 15lbs she’s a chunky monkey. The reviews seemed pretty mixed as far as sizing goes so I decided to stick with the 3-6 month size. Way too small. I was able to get the top on her it was snug. Continuously slid above belly button. The bottoms were way way too tight. After ten minutes of being on there were marks around her upper thigh. Worst of all is the material, it is so so rough! She literally had little scratches all over her body from wearing it. For babies having sensitive skin you would think they would take this into consideration.Though cute. I wouldn’t recommend
