Great All-Around Mixer!
This is a mighty mixer. Have used it for mashed potatoes, batters of all kinds, cookie doughs, whipping, beating. Powerful motor and love it has adjustable 7 speeds. Beater bars are easy to clean and work better than the traditional blade type. Accessories attach easily and quickly. This is very handy to use for smaller jobs without pulling out a stand mixer. This will do it all, but use your stand mixer for handling thick and heavy doughs. This is for your smaller jobs that you need to use quickly and easily. A well-equipped kitchen needs a stand and hand mixer, and this is a great mixer to compliment your stand mixer in the kitchen. And it being a Kitchen-Aid

Great small beater with good power.
Easy to use, store and clean.

Real good handheld mixer.
Low speed is low so you're not going to be slinging stuff. It's not as powerful as a stand mixer but who would have that expectation? But it handled the thick wedding cookie dough. It is quiet enough that the spouse on the zoom call in the next room had no complaints. (I ordered the beaters with the rubberized ends. Highly recommended.) Only complaint: The switch buttons don't have a quality feel.

Great Hand Mixer
Very happy with the 7-speed KitchenAid Hand Mixer. It’s not too heavy to hold; it’s quiet, and the range of speeds is appropriate for a baker. I tried to save money by purchasing the Hamilton Beach 6-speed, and its lowest speed felt like 100 miles-per-hour. (Returned that one!) Waited until there was a small sale and scooped this one up.

Sturdy mixer.
Sturdy mixer that is very effective. If it had a higher speed I would have given it a 5 star rating.

Quiet mixer with 7 speeds--slow to fast for all your mixing needs!
One of the mixing blades on my decades old hand mixer broke and no replacement blade was available. So I watched and read a lot of mixer reviews. After trying and returning a cheap hand mixer that was too loud and did not have a suitable slow speed, I discovered this KitchenAid 7 Speed Hand Mixer. I compared this to the 9 speed KitchenAid and its reviews made me feel that it would better meet my needs once I discovered that I could purchase compatible bread dough hooks made by Univen (KHM2DH). I store my KitchenAid 7 Speed Hand Mixer in a soft side lunch bag (with a three sided zipper which had held my old mixer). I have now used all of the attachments: whisk, beaters, and bread hooks and all work well. When you power on the mixer, it starts at the lowest speed. It is easy to use the up & down arrows to raise or lower the speed. I thought I would miss having a single lever to change the speed, but I have adjusted well to this set-up. I use the highest speed for beating eggs with the whisk--especially when I make waffles. I am currently experimenting with making different gluten free recipes (a new development for me). The waffles in the photo were made with oat flour and cooked at the same time on two different waffle makers which explains why the waffles look different from each other. I used the whisk attachment to beat the egg whites on high speed. Next I used the same whisk to mix the rest of the dry and wet ingredients (to make the batter) on the low and second speed. I detached the whisk and used it to fold the egg whites into the batter to complete the prep. I have used the regular beaters for gluten-free oatmeal cookies, and the bread hooks for a gluten-free dough. This mixer is so much quieter than my old Black & Decker mixer, as well as the cheap Hamilton Beach mixer I returned. All of the attachments have been easy to clean. The openings are different for the attachments, so it is easy to figure out which piece goes in which opening. Although this mixer cost more than I initially thought I would spend, I am very happy with my purchase and the range of speeds is just right! My ears are happy, too, with this quieter mixer!
