It has to be hooked up to a dish to work.
I bought this to see if I could get satellite reception at a rural property before I built. This has to be hooked up to a dish to work. So for me it is worthless. I went back and looked at the product description and it doesn't say anything about that. It's not worth the $10 to hassle with sending it back so they got me.
