Orrco 60143 Extension Socket Knob 1/2 Inch, Black, 2 Count

Very simple to screw in to the screw in a standard socket. I didn't need to use extension, but be aware that the photo of the extension in the listing is a bit misleading. The extension is simply the standard male thread on one end and the same female thread in the other end. Photo in listing doesn't make this clear. It's very simple to screw in the extension and then screw in the knob to the extension, if needed. Also, I got two knobs and two extensions in the package.

I have been searching for a switch for a lamp I bought about 15 years ago and gave up wasting my money on switches that just weren’t long enough and resorted to plugging it in when I wanted to use it. With the extension that comes with this switch I can finally use my light instead of mostly just looking at it because of having to get on the floor to turn it on. So glad I gave it one more chance and purchased this. Probably the most reasonably priced one I tried too!

Had a 3 way floor lamp with a knob that wouldn't turn anymore so to turn my lamp on or off I had to plug it in or unplug every time. Got the socket knobs in the mail today and was able to take the old stripped knob off and put the new one on in less than 5 minutes and now I have a lamp that actually works again!

I bought a lamp on clearance I wasn’t quite sure why until I got home and realize that it was missing the little turn knob. Ordered a set of these off Amazon and they work beautifully. Very happy with my purchase. Just screws right on.

The product's picture is wrong but I took a chance that the product would be correct and it was just what I needed. It saved a floor lamp from going to the dump.Attached picture shows what I received.

One extension wasn't long enough by itself, but the pair coupled together was perfect to fix my damaged torchiere lamp! Great packaging!!

These were to small of a whole to screw on, I thought they would work I was bummed they are made good!
